If you are planning a vacation to Kauai, one place to seriously consider is Aliomanu Beach.

Situated on the other side of the Anahola river, is South Aliomanu Beach with North Aliomanu Beach situated just south of Papaa Bay.

Why Visit Aliomanu Beach?

Aliomanu is one of the most secluded beaches situated within Kauai, which means that it is not usually packed with tourists during the day. However, the reason for that is because it is not so easy to get to. Most people hike to the beach, so if you like to hike, it is definitely a beach that you should explore.

There are two sections to the Aliomanu Beach and those are the South and the North Beach.

The South is mainly used for pole fishing, octopus hunting and harvesting limu, an edible type of seaweed. It is an incredibly beautiful beach and is an experience you'll never forget. The South Beach is by far the most popular and is host to a lagoon perfect for a relaxing swim.

Near the Anahola stream is a picnic area where you can enjoy a relaxing and scenic picnic with the family. Ironwood and kamani trees will provide shade and allow you to enjoy the gorgeous scenery while you eat. Now what more could you possibly ask for then to be at one with nature?

Where to Stay

If you are looking for a place to stay near Aliomanu Beach, look no further than the Aliomanu Beach House.  The Aliomanu Beach house is situated in North Kauai and it sleeps 6-10 people.

It boasts beautiful ocean views and offers various amenities while you are there. You could take part in activities like snorkeling, diving, fishing and swimming.

You'll also enjoy a beautiful hot tub where you can relax and sip a nice refreshing, cool drink to cool you down from the beautifully sunny weather.

Aliomanu Beach is definitely worth a visit. The hike isn't too strenuous and it is only a short distance from a car park. You could always park your car at the top and enjoy a short walk to the beach. It isn't a particularly active beach, but it is perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy the view.

So, if you are visiting the garden isle of Kauai, a trip to Aliomanu Beach is highly recommended and there is the Beach House nearby if you would like to stay there.

If Kauai is a possible vacation destination for you , I invite you to visit Kauai's Beaches and see what the beaches of Kauai have to offer.
