It use to be to enable your business to fax meant getting a separate phone line and number and purchasing a fax machine for each user. When I first started my business that proposition was an expensive one to say the least. If I just had to fax or receive a document, Considering the cost of the machine, the installation of a separate phone line to avoid conflicts with your answering machine, and the ongoing cost of replacement ink. I'd usually just hit the local Office Depot. (A feeling of dread consumes me now just thinking about it).

With online fax services these costs are all rolled in to a single monthly fee which is paid to your fax provider. This fee is just a fraction of the cost of phone line rental alone. When I add the savings in paper and ink and using an online fax service I start to calm down a little.

So the question now is How to Email to a fax.

1. Find the right service for your needs. If you seldom Fax, try one of the free online email fax companies. I suggest looking into the email fax services that provide all your needs in one. Virtual PBX, Call Forwarding, Click-to-call, Voicemail, 800 number, Toll Free Vanity or Local Numbers. You get one of these usually for about $9.99 a month.

2.Next on your journey on how to email to a fax you will need to create an email account if you don't have one. You can set up a Gmail account in less than two minutes. Yahoo is easy with lots of features too.

3. Write the fax content in the body of the email.

4. In the "To" field of your email enter the "fax number@your service".

Example:

13226785432@howtoemailtoafax.com

5.In the subject field, You will need to put the recipients name,

for example:

Attn: Mr. How to email to a fax guy.

Receiving Email faxes is easy,

the you just receive the fax normally, through a fax machine.

There are numerous reasons to start implementing Email faxing services in your business or personal usage. If you have ever owned a fax machine then you can understand how frustrating it is when it jams, cuts off page text, stops in the middle of a transmission, or the receiving machine is constantly busy or out of paper. Communication troubles caused by the traditional fax machines prevail everywhere.

Life with Emailfaxing is much easier- 24 hours ready, no more engage tones, and no more paper jamming. Faxes will always sent out and arrived smoothly via your email account. Knowing how to email to a fax is the easy part. Wading through morass of competing email fax companies is the challenge.

Ring Central provides all the service you will need from faxing to 800 and local numbers. They also offer a 7 day Free Trial.
