I’m sure by now you’ve heard one or more of the growing concerns about the coming year 2012. These concerns have been cropping up more and more over the years and, with less than 5 years to go, I’m sure you’d like to know exactly what is going on. We all would. Unfortunately most of us are still too confused about WHY 2012 is so important to wonder what we should be doing. I’m going to break it down for you as best I can and then I’m going to tell you exactly what you need to do.
There have been a lot of people talking about the “end of times" throughout the entirety of our history. Madmen, prophets, or just people who ate too many mushrooms. Most of the time these prophecies mean very little and the date mentioned passes with nothing more than a slight chill in the air. 2012 is not one of these random dates. In fact, 2012 is the only date that has several prophecies surrounding it. This is important, there is very little chance that so many cultures, from different areas of the world and different times in history, would name the same date for “cataclysmic change". It is also important to note that these same prophecies have been accurate for other events as well.
First of all, the most talked about prophecy is the Mayan Calendar. The Mayans were master mathematicians and absolutely obsessed with Calendars. Much like ours, the Mayans had a 365 (and one quarter) day calendar for keeping track of seasons and harvests.
The really interesting part is that they also had a calendar for consciousness. They had developed a way to outline what humanity would do and when humanity would do it. This Calendar has been accurate for everything from wars to the rise of new religions. It also covers the entire evolution of the universe…and it ends on December 21, 2012 . Secondly, December 21, 2012 also happens to be the exact date that our species will get to see what nobody else has seen in almost 26000 years. Our sun, our earth, and the exact center of the Milky Way galaxy will be perfectly in line.
Thirdly, after calculating a mathematical algorithm from the I Ching (book of change) a wave form was developed. Very much like the Mayan Calendar this wave form indicates the patterns of human behavior. When the wave falls there is a major war, when it rises a new culture is born. This wave form also mysteriously ends on December 21, 2012 . Research Timewave Zero by Terrence McKenna.
Fourthly, in 1139 AD Saint Malachy, on his way to Rome , went into a ecstatic trance. In this trance he listed 112 popes that would reign before the end of the church and the end of times. Pope Benedict XVI is number 111. This list has been accurate.
Fifth, recent science and the prophecies of Nostradamus agree that a Polar Shift will occur between 2007 – 2012. This is happening as we speak.
So, with all of these prophecies pointing to the same year, what do you do about it? Do you keep working? Do you build a bomb shelter? Stock up on food?
There are 2 schools of thought on 2012 and what it means to humanity. On the one side of the coin you have the traditional school of thought that the universe is a giant random mess that should be feared. On the other side you have the school of thought that has realized that for so many prophecies to point to the same date (from different times and areas of the world) there MUST be some plan. There must be more purpose to this existence than simply working, paying taxes, and eating junk food.
And there is. The one truly amazing event that is taking place right now is in you. In your mind you have become more and more aware of yourself. You are exploring thoughts you’ve never explored before, understanding is seeming easier, time means less to you on a daily basis, and you’re becoming aware of exactly how endless your imagination can be. You, for lack of a better term, are evolving.
The current state of the world is dependant on you not realizing this. Government doesn’t want you to evolve because they are afraid you won’t need them if you do…and you won’t. Mindless entertainment and constant fear mongering are the only tools that the system has to distract you from what is happening within your own mind. The problem is that those tools are not working, people ARE waking up and realizing their own potential. Unfortunately this means that the system will just try harder. This is the real journey to 2012.
I promised you I would tell you what to do and so I will. Find out everything about yourself that you were never taught. Don’t fall in with a religion but instead pay attention to the words of the people that those religions worship. Remember that Christ, Buddha, Mohammed, and every other great “teacher" were simply trying to point out our true potential. They were just people like you and I. They were trying to tell us what we are about to truly discover in 2012. They were trying to show us our own infinite and divine nature.

noone seemed to mention the Sumerians in this topic at all. They also predicted theses events of 2012 and Niburu. Sumerians were one of the oldest of civilizations and they originated in .....IRAQ.
I am afraid for whats to come. i keep looking for something to disprove all of this. I want to believe it is wrong and truly hope it is. However the more research I do the more concerned I become.
i wish to become motivated but do not know what to do.... some corrupt organizations are sure totake advantage of a very real concern such as this and aim to profit from it I'm sure.
Does anyone out there have a clue as to where the new poles will be located after the shift?
I have heard some say Canada and most of the USA will be the new Artic and I have heard some say it will be the new palm springs. one thing is for sure that proper high altitude shelter/bunkers wil be necesarry for survival for the initial change/wave and all. But what mountain is the right one to choose? and what continent?

True... Niburu is coming and bringing our creators with it. It all sound so crazy. But if you look at all the theories, "facts", religions. Eventually they all tie into the same story.
Our creators( gods. deitys, aliens, whatever) our coming. The second coming of christ is real, he just isnt coming back as a spirit. He buming a ride from the aliens that created us. Before i go any further, there are 2 types of aliens here.
The good aliens (our creators, angels, god, ect) will return to liberate us.
the bad aliens ( Lucifer, demons, ect) have been here for a long time now, and r now in command of the NEW WORLD ORDER. My recent "pilgrimage" to Woodstock, New York was in some convoluted way connected to the 2012 phenomenon. That is where psychonautic visionary/writer Daniel Pinchbeck connected with other like-minded people at a Liminal Worlds Conference in 2006. Pinchbeck, as many know, wrote "2012: A Return to Quetzalcoatl."
Some observations: - An aging nuclear power plant in southern Vermont is scheduled for decommission in 2012. - 2012 is a projected date for Iraq autonomy.
What do I think? It is an evolutionary progression of consciousness, and has nothing to do with a cataclysmic end to the physical world.
Are you familiar with the meaning of aeon, and Carl Jung's classical work by the name Aion? What about the precession of the Zodiacal Equinox, where the Piscean Age is coming to a close in the advent of the Aquarian Age? These approximate the 26,000 year "Galactic Month" (where approximately 312000 earth-years comprise a Galactic Year).

2012. How much can you say about this mess? Its not what the person next to you believes or what you read/see on the internet or even what the experts say. Its all about what you believe is going to hapen. Im not saying nothing is going to happen but I am saying that dont believe everything you here even when it comes to religious points of view. I think we should all be ready for anything and for nothing. You should always have supplies and protection against any unexpected happening. If something is going to happen, its going to happen and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. I dont think anyone is going to properly predict it. God is in controle and if wants to hold destroying the world until 3012 then thats what is going to happen or if he wants to destroy the world in 2012 thats whats going to happen in thats the way it is kids. I have been studying survival for sometime now and if there is one thing ive learned is that anyone can survive in any situation. Its all about having the will, the knowledg, and the way. But I will tell you one thing, Im not going to trust the word of some 50.000 year old man of whom ive never met. But I will trust MY judgment and MY knowledg of all of this and MY survival information and above all the BIG MAN UPSTAIRS. Goodluck to you all and here is a bit of advice. Oddly enough, there is expected to be a "space rock" that will enter our orbit in 2012, according to leading astronomists. There is a small chance that it will actually hit the Earth, but if it just so happens to shift direction if met at a particular area where gravity will change its course, it is predicted to hit some where off the coast of California, or in California state.

Do you really want to know what is going to happen? Then type "Peak Oil" into your browser or "latoc" (life after the oil crash) and read about how the whole world of people use oil and what is happening now (dated 20081124).
We are at the end of stage 1 - Economic collapse. In 2005 we hit a peak in that there has not really been any more than 84-86 million barrels of oil produced (worldwide) for 3 years now. But, at the same time there is more demand (china, India) that use oil, the population has also grown. That means there are more "have-nots" who lose there homes, jobs, etc. That gap between demand and available supply will continuously impoverish the human civilization. If I am right then stage 2-Commercial collapse (business and utility failure) will start. Stage 3-government collapse (Federal, state, local) will fail (because without a tax base the biggest energy users will fail) Stage 4- social collapse (simple if there are no jobs, businesses, or government (protection) then social chaos starts. Would you give your neighbor the food you need for your family? Do you think they will give you food (knowing full well they do not believe in a god) and starve their own family? Stage 5-Mass de-population, who ever gets hold of the nuclear weapons won't like the idea of you living.

What exactly do you mean by a Polar Shift?
Science indicates the true poles have shifted over time, but in a very gradual process (1 degree per million years or so) (look up True Polar Wander).
The magnetic North pole is always moving, so can't be said to "shift" on a particular date.
If by "Polar Shift" you are referring to geomagnetic reversal (where the North magnetic pole becomes the South and the South becomes the North), then science does not predict this happening any time soon, and the reversal is a relatively gradual process, taking thousands of years. Again, not something you can really pin down to a particular year.
If you are referring to Polar Shift Theory, wikipedia warns:
"The field has attracted many pseudoscientific and non-scientific authors, offering a wide variety of things as evidence, including psychic readings"
It is not about the physichal world. It is not about finding a bunker and hiding in order to survive. If you are afraid, work on that, this is the only way to understand more. It is time for a dramatic change in our society and there is no right or wrong answer. The only answer is to know yourself. Descover what your real capabilities are, free your mind, learn to love unconditionaly. Forget about fear. The reality is, we sense it, something is changing. But the answer is not out there, it is within ourselves. The material world as we know it mght change or might not, but for sure if you want to be part of the quantum leap about to happen, think of love, compassion, understading. I have been experiencing many thoughts of world and societies evolution, connecting both past and present to understand what will happen. Now this may seem farfetched but i will explain. the poles will shift and i beleive its already started, the poles will be located over the bermuda triangle and the mariana trench which is why such magnetic problems have occured at these locations. Not only this but the weather is moving, is it coincedence that both poles are covered in ice, i think not. I beleive these abundance of hurricanes in the southern region of america are caused by the tornado belt moving out of central america and into the ocean causing all these hurricanes. The thing is the earth is alive just like us, and just like us in goes through a proccess of evolution, The seasons are a representation of the earth's natural function to evolve and provide life. You must understand the seasonal proccess in a litteral way. Fall brings the falling of leaves and speads seeds and those things neccessary to populate with new vegitation, winter comes and preserves and readies the soil for the comming spring, in the spring the blanketing snow evaporates causing many showers which give nutrients to the new growth and summer comes in to make everything green and sunny. you see the earth is just gonna go through a very large climate change that will affect some (mainly the old and sick) i do not beleive in global disaster but just a proccess that the world will undergo to revitalize its extrerior, the only ones affected will be those who refuse to adapt, i beleive some places will be hit harder than other places, Winter and spring are the seasons to fear in 2012 cause cold and water are two things that when made extreme or atleast brought on by surprise, can be very devastating to those not ready. prepare for the worst but expect the best

i dont believe the world will be "destroyed", but unpleasent to live in. If we all just came together in this, we can change the world. I mostly blame America for this (i am american btw) but i can only do SO much. Im alsdo not a tree hugger, but want to help the world any way i can. I dont understand why it so hard to be friends and love eachother. You live what you learn, so lets learn to come together! than the world will be ok. Im a christian, and i beleve that God is coming back to this world in my lifetime, or the one after.

It is interesting that so many of us are feeling the same thing and wondering.
Let us remember that it is purpose that created us and it is purpose that guides us ... there are no accidents and there are no coincidences. Everyone has had a leap of intuition; where did that come from? As one person said: "BELIEVE" and remember "that even the most seemingly insignificant individual can change the course of Destiny with a selfless act and perhaps in so doing become the right hand of God."
The governments of this reality have taken their precautions based on their "facts". Example: close to 300 seed vaults have been constructed, stocked, sealed. The magnetic pole is moving at 40 km/yr towards Siberia. World economy is imploding and confidence in the system of government is evaporating. This Star system has moved into the Dark Rift, which gives us an almost clear channel to the center of our Galaxy and coded radio transmissions have been detected coming from the center of the Galaxy. You can feel the change.
What to do? GO GREEN. If we know how to take care of the plant and be more Ecofriendly we can do alot. I would like to believe that the world isnt going to end if 2012 but just be a very big mess I hope and pray that it will be like Y2K and nothing happens I have a 20 month old son and would like to know that he is going to have a long healthy life. We can do this together make the world a better place.
