I’m sure by now you’ve heard one or more of the growing concerns about the coming year 2012. These concerns have been cropping up more and more over the years and, with less than 5 years to go, I’m sure you’d like to know exactly what is going on. We all would. Unfortunately most of us are still too confused about WHY 2012 is so important to wonder what we should be doing. I’m going to break it down for you as best I can and then I’m going to tell you exactly what you need to do.
There have been a lot of people talking about the “end of times" throughout the entirety of our history. Madmen, prophets, or just people who ate too many mushrooms. Most of the time these prophecies mean very little and the date mentioned passes with nothing more than a slight chill in the air. 2012 is not one of these random dates. In fact, 2012 is the only date that has several prophecies surrounding it. This is important, there is very little chance that so many cultures, from different areas of the world and different times in history, would name the same date for “cataclysmic change". It is also important to note that these same prophecies have been accurate for other events as well.
First of all, the most talked about prophecy is the Mayan Calendar. The Mayans were master mathematicians and absolutely obsessed with Calendars. Much like ours, the Mayans had a 365 (and one quarter) day calendar for keeping track of seasons and harvests.
The really interesting part is that they also had a calendar for consciousness. They had developed a way to outline what humanity would do and when humanity would do it. This Calendar has been accurate for everything from wars to the rise of new religions. It also covers the entire evolution of the universe…and it ends on December 21, 2012 . Secondly, December 21, 2012 also happens to be the exact date that our species will get to see what nobody else has seen in almost 26000 years. Our sun, our earth, and the exact center of the Milky Way galaxy will be perfectly in line.
Thirdly, after calculating a mathematical algorithm from the I Ching (book of change) a wave form was developed. Very much like the Mayan Calendar this wave form indicates the patterns of human behavior. When the wave falls there is a major war, when it rises a new culture is born. This wave form also mysteriously ends on December 21, 2012 . Research Timewave Zero by Terrence McKenna.
Fourthly, in 1139 AD Saint Malachy, on his way to Rome , went into a ecstatic trance. In this trance he listed 112 popes that would reign before the end of the church and the end of times. Pope Benedict XVI is number 111. This list has been accurate.
Fifth, recent science and the prophecies of Nostradamus agree that a Polar Shift will occur between 2007 – 2012. This is happening as we speak.
So, with all of these prophecies pointing to the same year, what do you do about it? Do you keep working? Do you build a bomb shelter? Stock up on food?
There are 2 schools of thought on 2012 and what it means to humanity. On the one side of the coin you have the traditional school of thought that the universe is a giant random mess that should be feared. On the other side you have the school of thought that has realized that for so many prophecies to point to the same date (from different times and areas of the world) there MUST be some plan. There must be more purpose to this existence than simply working, paying taxes, and eating junk food.
And there is. The one truly amazing event that is taking place right now is in you. In your mind you have become more and more aware of yourself. You are exploring thoughts you’ve never explored before, understanding is seeming easier, time means less to you on a daily basis, and you’re becoming aware of exactly how endless your imagination can be. You, for lack of a better term, are evolving.
The current state of the world is dependant on you not realizing this. Government doesn’t want you to evolve because they are afraid you won’t need them if you do…and you won’t. Mindless entertainment and constant fear mongering are the only tools that the system has to distract you from what is happening within your own mind. The problem is that those tools are not working, people ARE waking up and realizing their own potential. Unfortunately this means that the system will just try harder. This is the real journey to 2012.
I promised you I would tell you what to do and so I will. Find out everything about yourself that you were never taught. Don’t fall in with a religion but instead pay attention to the words of the people that those religions worship. Remember that Christ, Buddha, Mohammed, and every other great “teacher" were simply trying to point out our true potential. They were just people like you and I. They were trying to tell us what we are about to truly discover in 2012. They were trying to show us our own infinite and divine nature.
Here’s a good start. “Our Ultimate Reality" is a 115 chapter book about almost every individual thought on reality and the self. This book is just the start, it will show you where to look next.
I feel so sorry for you! You are a lost soul and don't even know it! It is in God's control. No one will ever know when the end is near. Only the Father, your creator! I will pray for you so that you will not be left behind when the Father return JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. The only force that truly matter is God! and you are right on one thing.....when the end does come and whenever it may be....God will not protect us in flesh.....BUT HE PROMISED TO PROTECT OUR SOULS FOR THOSE THAT BELIEVE AND TRUST IN HIM!
There is the force which controls everything,gives us life and enlightens us.Call him Jesus,Allah,Shiva or anything else you want to..everyone just teaches peace and brotherhood.They have taught us to stay away from sin. So when I rcame to know about 2012, I think why can't we all, the residents of the living planet can be together and do good for everyone and stay away from wars?
This is the best we can do and I request everyone PLS DO NOT QUARREL OVER RELIGION, that has neither helped anyone nor is going to. Ofcourse follow your religion but do remember we are humans first.

HUMANS NEED TO WAKE UP AND START REALizing THAT WERE THE ONES KILLING OURSELVES AND MANY PEOPLE ARE GETTING PREGNENT WHEN THIER NOT MARRIED OR NOT ON PURPOSE AND THAT nEEDS TO STOP AND KILLINGS, WARS, AND ALL THE STUFF THAT DIVIDES HUMANS NEED TO STOP. I believe that if it is true then why are there so many people trying to make money out of saving peoples lives..... come on if 2012 is going to be then end and if there is a way to survive, then we all need to work together to survive rich or poor man woman and child. all of us working together is the only way to survive any disaster no matter how big or small. Disagree'd, though a lot of scientists are liars, there are a few religious scientists. And regarding your statement: "world will end when the sun goes out in 5 billion years." That is also incorrect, The Bible states itself that God will end the world in flames.
im sad and happy,sad because we might die in 2012 but still happy because god has a place for good people to go and be with your family so dont be scared like me because god is a good person so is vigin mary and jesus christ if your cathlic like me you will be in a wonderful place so dont be scared just pray and dont cuss like if someone says the B word say dont say that say witch and you will be saving yourself from going to hell.

(the question is not how far we will take it, the question is do you have the constitution? the dept to faith to take it as far as needed ?) In the end if you are not at peace with your self and you don't beleive in a higher being than you have already lost your life and soul to a human concept of failure. Live your life as if their is no tommorow love your family like you have but a day to live and never take it for granite for tommorow may not come. This is true if you beleive in god or beleive in just your self for when you die your body is dust and I personaly hope my spirit will rise, in the end our body will lie in mother earth and she is your keeper

Wow. So much debate on the end times. I guess even without prophesy and God to tell us it is going to happen, we still just KNOW somehow. I hear all of you who say there is no God, only us humans. In my mind I find it very sad that so many of my fellow men worship themselves and the things of this world and lift the creation above the creator. This life on earth is wonderful and terrible at the same time, but I find comfort in faith, knowing that this life isn't all that we have. I find it interesting also that so many know about the Christian God, and what His word says about this life and the eternity that follows this life, yet you aren't even concerned that there may be a possibility of the truth in it. Yet, when grandpa dies, you go to his funeral and take comfort in knowing he is going to a better place and you will see him again when youu die and go to Heaven. I feel a burden each time that I go to a funeral and hear these things over and over. You want to believe that there uis a Heaven when it is convinient, yet you don't want to hear God's word concerning eternity when it comes to your everyday lives. Why is that? Because the bible also talks of the place of punishment for those who didn't accept Jesus as their personal savior. Hell is as real as Heaven, yet nobody is going there? It just doesn't fit into most people's life to have to follow the commandments of God and to live a life dedicated top the service of Christ. Why should we after all? We have been told time and time again that grandpa and aunt julie or moma are in Heaven waiting for us to arrive. What if they aren't? What if they never asked God to forgive them of theiur sins? What if the blood of Jesus never washed their sins away? Are they STILL in Heaven? I mean, if you believe they're in Heaven, you MUST believe the rest of the Bible is true. If so, knowing as you do that the Bible speaks truth, is it worth the chance that you will burn for eternity in a Hell that's as real as the Heaven that you believe in just for a short season of living however you wish on this earth? In this life? For those of you who don't believe in God at all, I say watch and listen to the way things shape up. At least study what the Bible says about the end times, so in case it IS real, you will be prepared to recognize these things as they happen. What's the harm in knowing these things? What's wrong with studying and being aware of what everyone who believes is saying is going to happen? I mean, you know what is going to happen to Harry Potter, and wonder what will happen next with the Twilight series. Why not add something to your studies that might actually have substance? A little extra knowledge isn't going to ruin your time with big brother or american idol. God has a special place for those who worship the "creation more than the "creator." I'm not saying you have to become a believer, just that maybe you should stop trying to be a buzzkill on somebody elses faith. What is it that everybody says when they want somebody to dp something that they consider fun or "in"? Don't knock it til you try it. Even then, if you try it and don't like it, stop trying to shove your anti-9hristian views down the throats of those who are content in their faith in Christ. You don't like them "preaching all that Christian stuff" at you so why do the same to them? If you are here in this discussion, you open yourself up to the things I have said. I hope that you will not want to use this as an excuse to start a fight, I just wanted to give you another perspective of how to look at Christianity. May God bless you all, and I hope that He will bless the words that I leave for you here so that someone may walk away with somethung to ponder. Maybe someone will actually at least turn away from the lusts of the world for a moment to consider what it might be like tpo live under the grace of God and what it would be like to KNOW they are going to Heaven when they die and not just hope they are right about it when daddy is laying there in death. Why would you want to have to HOPE to see your loved ones again? Why not have faith and KNOW you'll meet them someday if they were washed in the blood of the Lamb?

believe that every beginning has an end... the earth needs to detox, and it will, it was once a beautiful green planet, and we have made a disaster of it. now we need to deal with the consequences... i just wish there were no little inoccent children in this world who are going to have to face this mess with us for no fault of theirs.. god bless.

What kind of existence is this I ask you? We work, push papers, pay taxes, slave over computers in small compacted cubicles, we sweat blood for our bosses until we die. We need to open our eyes. We humans are being controlled. Call me paranoid, insane, whatever. Just close your eyes and think for a minuet. Is this the kind of existence you want to live? Is religion just something created by our rulers and governments to manipulate us? To give us a seance of false hope to compel us to continue our enslaved lives? Open yourselves to the universe, embrace eternity. We humans are evolving. We are beginning to realize our situation. Do not mire yourselves in pointless beliefs. Was it not religion that has claimed countless lives in thousands of unnecessary wars and revolts. Even if their is an afterlife we must focus on the here and now. We must learn to put aside our differences and work together. The cosmos is the key to the salvation of our deteriorating race. Our many seats of power must realize this. We must treat one another as equals. All the nations, great and poor, must unite and work together. Only then will their be peace. Just imagine what humanity could accomplish. Our minds are as endless as space itself. We can accomplish anything. The people of Earth must accomplish this. We cannot go on like this. If this is not the case, we will not survive 2012. We cannot deny our future and what is at stake. If a Twelve year old like myself can understand this, so can you. Explore your mind. Accept reality. Respond to this comment

It is quite possible that 2012 will not happen. However lots of scientific evidence points towards a 2012 disaster. I admit maybe I was being a little extreme in my first entry, but what I speculate Is also possible. Non the less, we humans have to learn how to work together.

Why is everyone worrying about somthing you can not control.Concern your self about the things you can control. Example, How you live your life, no one needs to tell you what is right or wrong ,what to believe or not believe , Just lesten to the inter voice inside of you .Treat people the way you want to be treated , be proud of who you are and where you come from. Remember the things that should be important to you if you are religious,your relegion, family, honor, pride, respect. Play the hand that is dealt to you.You must refuse to be beaten.Remember it is not where you start but where you finish, If one soul breath's easer because you where there that is the true meaning of sucess.
