More and more studies show us that the only way we can protect ourselves against cancer is to eat certain aliments that are good for our health. The black walnut is one of them, as it contains significant amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids, substances that are essential for our body. Why are Omega-3 fats so important? They have a multitude of uses: they protect arteries and reduce the cardiovascular risk, improve the functions of brain cells, help prevent gallstones and protect the health of the bones.

Therefore, walnuts protect against a great number of serious diseases, including cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Of course, in order to obtain positive results, walnuts must have associations in our diet with other beneficial aliments such as vegetables, fruits, fish, and olive oil and whole grains. Outdoor activities and sport help, too.

Our grandparents knew some of the amazing properties of fruit and vegetables. They cultivated everything they needed in their garden and had an equilibrated diet. There is no wonder that many of them lived long and healthy lives. Unfortunately, the civilization also had negative effects. The processed foods that we eat today are often bad for our health.

Recently, we have rediscovered the beneficial effects of fruit and vegetables. For examples, the common black walnut has many uses that you would not have imagined. If you suffer from insomnia, a few walnuts can solve your problems, as they contain melatonin, a hormone that is responsible with getting you a good nights sleep. In addition, walnuts can help you if you are experiencing difficulties in concentrating or you have to make intense intellectual effort. The proof is that a higher concentration of Omega-3, the substance contained in the black walnut, can put an end to this kind of troubles.

Although we all want to be fit and healthy, we do not all respect the right diet. That is understandable. Some of us undergo too much pressure at work to think about what they are having during lunch break. Moreover, if we all had healthy lifestyles, the fast food companies would probably go bankrupt soon. However, if you care about your future, you should start doing something about your diet today.

It is difficult to change all your habits from one day to another, so our advice is to take it easy. You can start by replacing your usual lunch with a healthier snack, consisting of a salad or steamed vegetables and, for the dessert, a few roasted walnuts. They are delicious and healthy at the same time. Even if your friends all eat hamburgers and laugh at your salad, think that your health is far more important than their jokes. In a few years, they will realize that you are right.

The black walnut is an important source of manganese and copper, two minerals that fight against free radicals damage. It also contains an antioxidant called ellagic acid, which can prevent cancer cells from replicating. You see now that what you eat can make the difference between health and disease and such a small thing as the black walnut can do so much good. The nutritionists and the scientists have been right all along. Do not wait until it is too late, change your lifestyle now and you will get your reward later.Scientists, television and thousand of books are all trying to get to us with the same message you must be careful about what you eat. There are certain aliments that can protect you against diseases. Such an aliment is the http://walnutsweb.com black walnut , which prevents cancer and heart diseases. http://walnutsweb.com
