Many children participate in soccer teams, whether connected to their school or recreational leagues. Many soccer teams have fundraisers to help them go to away games, tournaments and pay for equipment.

Concession Stands

Some soccer teams choose fundraisers directly related to the sport, often taking place right at the games. Concession stands are one of the most popular ways that soccer teams raise funds. Most spectators want to purchase food and drinks at the games anyway, so this is a matter of giving people what they really want. Often the lines at the concession stand can be very long indeed!

Its important that the most popular food and snack items are available at concession stands. Sodas, bottled water, candy, popcorn and hot dogs are essential. Other foods should be added depending upon what people in the community really enjoy. Be sure there are some health conscious options too! Organizers can often strike deals with the vending services that are already in place with the school district and purchase other supplies wholesale. Most concession stands are staffed entirely by parent volunteers.

Photo Fundraisers

Team photos can actually be another great fundraiser. Soccer teams normally have team and individual photos made anyway. Why not choose a photography provider that actually gives back to the team? Soccer teams can use the services of a portrait fundraiser program to offer great photos and also purchase equipment, snacks or uniforms.

Another fun photo fundraiser for a soccer team is photo button sales. Each player has a close-up photo on a button. Not just a plain button, the best photo button fundraisers are fancy decorated with ribbons and other emblems. Parents and grandparents like these and can wear them at the kids soccer games.

Discount Cards

Money saving promotions like discount cards are very popular in the community. Many school groups sell these cards that are valid for the entire school year. One of the great things about these kinds of promotions is that the school group can earn up to 90% of the face value of the discount card.

These are just three of the many fundraising options that soccer teams can use to raise funds. Groups should evaluate all of the options to find the most effective and profitable fundraiser for their team. A website that will help you do this is available at http://SuperFundraiser.com and its completely free.
