Since the release of iPods newest theme song, everyone has been going nuts trying to figure out who sings that song? It's a cute little song, mellow and catches attention right away. If you are one of the many trying to figure it out, think no more. After a little digging, this is what I found out!
Here ya go.
She's a little Canadian Gal, from Nova Scotia, who is a singer-songwriter, and her name is Leslie Feist. She created it with her co-writer Australia's own Sally Seltmann, known as 'New Buffalo', and added a few of her lyrics to make it her own. Combined they came up with the cute little tune. And since Feists song debut on the iPod Nano Tv commercial, (which you can view on iPods Apple Official Site), the little ditty has gotten everyone's attention.
On the net.. AND on the Billboard!
The company TBWA/Media Arts Lab used the theme song without naming the artist, and it didn't stop those surfers from searching for the voice behind the iPod.
According to The Register Apple iTunes is the leader in downloads, where Apple reported they had sold 500m downloads. In January this year, they reported to have sold 230m songs to date. These figures of course are estimations, and can vary up or down, but it is the ballpark figure!

USA Rating: Running for the second week in the USA, raking at number 28, rising from 61.
The stats for 1, 2, 3, 4.. were released that downloads are passing 73,000 in iPod downloads.

It's parent Cherrytree/Interscope album 'The Reminder' record label, has been on the Top 100 Album Charts, rising, and currently sitting on number 36, and was sitting at number 16 in the USA. But since the rising star of the Nano Commericial, its possible that 'The Reminder' may rise again on the charts.
Feist's Toronto label, Arts & Crafts is where to go, if you want to dig a little more.
'I heard it all' Is another hit off the Album 'The Reminder', which was used as the Theme song at the Toronto Film Festival.
You can purchase a copy of the iPod song, on the Apple site, or look for Leslie Fiests Album, 'The Reminder', to enjoy all of her songs. Or check out her previous album, 'Let it die' which was a debut, reportedly sold 147, 000 copies, and is a soft, sultry, fresh sound that is also worth checking out!
Lastly iPod Apple commercials also feature songs from Eminem, who reportedly brought a lawsuit against Apple for $10 million dollars, for using his song, 'Lose Yourself', without his permission. And he has sued Apple since, for what Eminem claimed as discretions in downloading of his music.
Other theme songs used on iPod came from U2s 'Vertigo', Wynton Marsalis (Jazz) for Bob Dylan's 'Modern Times', Paul McCartney, 'Dance Tonight', Fratellis, and even Wolfmother.
