Bring on the skeletons and the ghouls, the costumes and the decorations - but don't forget the gross-out candy treats! Halloween is a holiday enjoyed by young and old alike. Halloween is a historical holiday, as it has been observed for thousands of years. Over time, it has been influenced by numerous cultures, such as the Romans, the Celts, and the Christians. Halloween is celebrated in the US every year with great exuberance.
Kids Love To Be Scared, And They Love Halloween
Halloween is an adventure for kids of all ages; dressing up and going out in the dark is something they all enjoy. Not to mention, the never satisfied sweet tooth that propels them from house to house! Halloween celebrations involve such things as scary candy, pumpkin lanterns, themed parties, and 'scariest costume' competitions. So, how can you make your Halloween treats the most frighteningly ghoulish and creepily cool on the block?
Children are fond of all types of Halloween candies, from worms and skulls to chocolate dressed cockroaches. In the eyes of kids, the creepier your candy, the cooler you are!
Some tips to make everyone on the block jealous of your home:
1. Albert's Candy makes some unique and scary sweets that are sure to go over big with the kids. They have a wide range of candies for selection, with Skeleton Candy coffins being the most popular. They expect the new Fear Factor Candy to be as successful as the television show, for which it was named. There are even Harry Potter Chocolate frogs and Harry Potter Cockroach clusters for those who can't get enough of the Harry Potter craze.
2. There are some really frightening treats being introduced by Foreign Candy and Generation Candy brands. Boogeyman Halloween lollipops and gummy brown earthworms can be a good choice. The kids will go nuts for the alien drool and brain dips. If the kids in your neighborhood are anything like most kids, they'll love Gummies. Gummy rats, gummy vampire bats, gummy spiders, and and don't forget the gummy snakes are a few ideas to give out to the kids.
3. If you prefer traditional gummy bears, kids will go for those too. If you like rare gummi styles, give Vidal candies a try; there are gummi flies, gummi fried eggs and gummi snails in their product line. These kind make the original gummi candies seem pretty lame by comparison.
4. HotLix is the new brand for those kids who are open to trying out new things. Treat them with candied cockroaches and crickets dipped in chocolate. There are also many Halloween themed candies, such as Sour Gummy Vampire bats, Gummy Fangs, Gummy Brains, Gummy Finger puppets, Oozing eyeballs candy, Spooky Eyeball gum balls, Creepy Peepers filled chocolate eyeballs and spooky Halloween lollipops.
5. Why not throw some black candy into the mix; black is the official color of Halloween. Some of the choices for black candies include: black licorice in several varieties and shapes, and also black gummy penguins.
If you want your house to be popular at Halloween, get rid the traditional types of candy, such as Snickers, M&M's, and candy corn. Grab some ghoulish goodies, and you'll be the most popular house on the block!
