It isn’t hard to imagine Barry Bonds standing in front of a mirror obsessing over his looks. Bonds have always been known for his ego and selfishness. So why is it news now? According to Kimberly Bell, it is the reason why he was obsessing.

Bell told the New York Daily News that Bonds would stand in front of the mirror and fret about how steroids were changing his body. She told the Daily News that his body had grown thicker, his back was pocked with acne, his hair had fallen out and other parts had shriveled when Bonds asked his former mistress if she thought anyone would suspect he was on the juice.

"I don't see how anyone could not have known, but everybody looked the other way," said Bell, who claims the slugger admitted using the juice to her in 1999. "He surrounds himself with yes people. I don't think he ever considered where this would lead, and as long as he was selling tickets, the Giants were going to cater to him."

For those who are not aware, Kimberly Bell is the infamous mistress of Barry Bonds. She has been in and out of the news over the last year as Bonds broke his homerun record amidst allegations of steroid use.

Well, Bell is leaving nothing to hide in the November Playboy Magazine Issue. Bell tells countless stories about her life with Bonds at a time when baseball enthusiasts wait to see the ultimate outcome of Bonds and the steroid investigation.

Bell goes on to tell the story of how the two met and fell in love. She details events during their relationship as well as things she was witness to. She said because of the drugs, their relationship grew worse and eventually ended. She talks about Bonds’ moodiness and violence, citing his want to “cut off her head and throw her in a ditch.”

Of course, what does she have to gain from revealing all of these stories? She said she was tired of being portrayed as a gold digger by the media.

"A lot of people have said a lot of rotten things about me," she told the New York Daily News. "It comes to a point where you have to defend yourself."

Seriously, she does a nude pictorial and interview with Playboy Magazine to set the record straight? Does anyone else see the irony in that?

She goes on to say that she wants to go back to college and get an education degree. As a parent, would you feel comfortable with your child’s teacher being someone who posed in Playboy? She said it is a noble profession and she wants to inspire children. It is a noble profession with the key word being noble. Bagging a major league baseball player who might have cheated to get the clout he has, does not make you a noble person. I just think at this point we are choosing between two evils. It seems to me both Bonds and Bell were made for each other. I can’t imagine how much ego could be in one room when the two of them were together.

Since Bell is now the expert on being married, I mean having an affair, I mean faking sex with a so-called powerful man; she is also hoping to write a self-help book. Yes, she tells the New York Daily News that it's a self-help book for young women who become involved with rich and powerful men.

"It will be about choices and consequences," she said, "and about how my life got off track."

It is not clear if Bonds will be charged with steroid use or not, but now the public will know exactly the view of his mistress.
