I was sitting home watching the NFL games and seeing all those fans packed into their teams stadiums, the same with the college games, hundreds of thousands of fans. A true American pastime. They were happy, no hate, there was no color on the field or in the stands. All were sharing the game with each other and having one good time. Then you also have the "tailgate parties, more good times and sharing. Now in fact it is probably what most of us Americans would like to be able to do as well. However, when that opportunity to achieve such is slowly being taken away and don't think it isn't, just what does that mean for any society? That window is forever shrinking and wealth is falling into the hands of fewer and fewer. It is the curse of history and civilizations. [Rhetorically I could never figure out why wealthy nations or powers are called civilized?] It seems to me the Cro Magons had a better sharing society.
Now many people who attend these games are also just average people who happen to get a ticket now and then handed to them and of course your young, single, up and comings who got the money to throw around. After all we all know what the cost is of just one ticket. Many couldn't buy one on a days pay. So, just where does that leave the rest of us and how many are there of us? Who are the us I am referring to? Well they are the ones who couldn't find enough gas and parking money to spend to go to a game much less a ticket, two, and three or more. Let a average working blue collor man try taking their family of 5 to Disney or a ball game for a night. The fact is it is a small fortune usually placed onto their credit card. Put the poor into the picture and they have trouble getting enough money to get 5 miles. So where is their entertainment? Well for many that 6 pack of beer and some cheap wine will do. Others have harder ways of finding release from their plight. Some just hang around day in and day out. Many, like in older days, spend quality time with their loved ones. Some just give up, period and sink deeper into depression.
However, many of these us types are the ones who haven't worked in a decent paying job for a year or even more. You know the ones working two and even three jobs to survive or those who just stopped looking and no one counts. They are family men and woman, living from day to day. Good, decent, hardworking types with strong work ethic and a desire to produce for their family who have suddenly become too expensive and obsolete. Many of them in situations forced upon them not by choice but circumstance.
Now I can quote one or two of these local average people trying to make ends meet and feed their family. How about this one out of the Sundays St. Petersburg Times, "A grown man cant go and get a job at Chic-fil- A, he said. You cant make a living off of that." Then was another who came from up north to live with his elderly mom. A person with family values. He was a chef up north but cant find work here and if he does it is for much less. Homeless shelters seeing a rise in numbers of abuse cases due to economic stress. The police say thats because there isn't enough money to buy cigarettes, alcohol or drugs. Rhetorically what does that say? Does it talk about being depressed, broken. shattered and a lack of self esteem, hopelessness, or does it talk about how the police see average families and the poor? Yet, it is the reality of why so many young families
are in turmoil? Why so may of our your consider themselves useless, a failure. Think not you just donlt care to know. Once again looking at the cover right?
So Mr. President, since you are beaming over your proclamation of new jobs, just where are the 10,000 new jobs you say the economy has grown and what is the pay scale for them? Of course, one of the things he doesn't tell you is the good jobs with the good pay go to foreigners. Example; now in my county in Florida a high priced job is about $8.00 an hour. This is in At Will State and that says enough about it all. Those jobs are for working in a fast paced keep it moving type job and many of us know what that means. Then again you could drive one way 40 to 70 miles for $10 or $12.00 and hour and make the gas giants and car dealers that dot the highways richer, which is what most are forced to do. Maybe thats why so many run for office with the super pay and benefit package and eveidntly in my opinion not much really to do.
So please don't give me social services or even churches. The governmnet agencies don't have enough money to turn the lights on, the churches are more interested if the sanctuary will be marble or ganite and only the average and poor are left to take care of themselves.
I got to thinking that overall people want to be decent and good. However, there must be a percentage, ever how small of the total of us all, that somehow cause all the problems for us all? In fact that small percentage is found everywhere, like a dormant virus, waiting to emerge on first opportunity.
Then again how about the local business owner who last year was doing great during the housing rape, oh I'm sorry boom. He now says I see guys coming in from crews that tell me business is horrible they haven't seen nearly as much work. Certainly they do not mention those foreign illegal workers who are building homes for this giant building concerns all about and taking those American jobs, do they? No they don't dare mention that. Nor do they mention the free money spent for education, trips home, medical attention, housing. No not a word about that. No, not even when your kid, born here and schooled here has to prove they are citizens while being too rich on $6000.00 a year income to get any help at all but perhaps some food stamps they consistently have to prove they are not cheating to get. Don't believe it, then God help you because you are too far gone from reality.
Then people, for whatever, reason I will never understand expect some of these very same politicians that have been running the show for the last twenty or thirty years are going to suddenly do something miraculous and help the poor and needy average Americans? Just how and why do you think hope will work in this case? Ok, once again to get it off my chest, just how and why do you think hope will work in this case?
No, only action talks and Im afraid people just do not know how to take action. I guess I've always known that as a leader. You have to lead them to the well and then tell them what they should do and why they should do it. Its a shame but what can one think when they express confidence in this same bunch of who in my opinion are failures. Don't listen to their words check their records! I truly believe if Hitler were alive he'd probably be elected. Devil that he was he could move millions to action. They truly did follow him to the gates of Hell.
In fact their policies and ideologies have in my opinion been severely detrimental to this nation and its middle class and poor it just will never be the same. They have destroyed everything that was once the American dream for the average and poor. Yes, they and I mean they, that elitist group who smugly talk about how good life is, that sit there winking at each other and patronizing each other while telling us anything we want to hear but doing what they want to do. The ones who won't ever suffer under their laws and policies. Yes, they who profess God and country but do all they can to bring about their perception of a new world system. That is a system that benefits them. Isn't it funny man has always been about empire building. It is a system of free markets, cheap labor, exploitation and increased profits where the few control it all.
Their system is not wrong if you eliminate the few part and it is just lacking important ingredients fairness, equity, and compassion for their fellow man. It is not enough to just talk about it. Evidently the God they serve is not the God many of us serve?
So in my opinion I do not expect many, whos focus is on themselves, their investments [cough, cough] their hair styles, how to throw a party and on and on about me, me and me to understand nor care. Oh sure they will lump themselves in to be seen as caring. They give at church and to charity but do they care? Do they care in their decisions with their workers, with their input to things that impct others? But in reality, we must remeber how they think. [Everyone breathes for themselves.]
Yes, in my opinion many of these types are the ones charging exhorbitent fees and interest, setting the traps for those who do not know any better or need a helping hand, the ignorant or non non knowledgable, the trusting souls looking for honesty and integrity but getting that "smile" and being taken advantage of. You know they sit in their small offices or large thinking of more and more ways to make more and more. We all know them and many of us work with them.
Where can you find them. Well really in every walk of life but many are to be found where there is money to be made and especially off of people. They are the people of excessive profits, fees, slick ARM loans, that friendly we can get you financed group. The credit card bunch that will help you on your way to destruction with the help of "our" good and decent legislators. Yes, they are in the insurance industry, the Government agencies who do little to nothing and the big multi nationals who drive it all. Yes and they too identify themselves as "the good and decent". They are always out front where their marketing agents play up their good points. After all you can't market negative effectively you have to redirect it away.
Now keep in mind good and decent people have no economic status. It ranges from the very poor to the very rich, However, it is where their heart is that really defines good or evil. However, what I specifically am speaking to is the average man on the street, who has a wife and family and is struggling.
Now the situation to day is like an electric circuit. Current will follow the circuits path until broken. Unless you open the circuit at any point the current will flow. The same is true with the people in power. It matters not who is in power because the circuit remains closed. Power therefore passes in the same direction, add a circuit, change a circuit it does not matter. You see the components are all the same. However, when that circuit goes bad what do you do? Thats it change out the line.
So to stop this or open the circuit you have to change those old parts. To do this you only have only two weapons YOUR VOTE and YOUR MONEY. You see if you dont buy they cant screw you. Simple isn't it. The question is do you really NEED everything you buy? so so by doing what is suggested you actually double your weapons because you then have two votes. One in getting them out of office and secondly in hurting them in their pocket book, their bottom line, their profits. Wow that really hurts them. They can't stand to lose even one penny.
That will cause them automatically to cut back because profits will fall. This is the sin of sins for them. There is no greater crime. Yes, as example, profits will fall from that 60% of a year ago to 58% and that will be a terrible blow to them that 2% loss. So the first thing they will cut is people. You got it the very least who can afford to be cut. But keep this in mind this will happen anyway of you allow the circuit to continue as is. They will replace you with cheaper and cheaper labor until you do something about it. However, that will also encourage them to stimulate the economy, cut rates, lower mortage rates, reduce prices to sell inventory, etc. It is the simple law of supply and demand, no demand no need big problem. Just like the Feds bailout of the market recently they will be forced to do it.
So, do you want to continue to buy that made in China toy that just may kill or harm your innocent child or grandchild made by a company that calls themselves American but makes a majority of their products offshore? Do you want to continue shopping in those retailers and those merchants who have a majority for foreign products like some of those real big name retailers and also claim to be "all American"? In other words do you want to continue pulling the noose tighter around your own neck? Do you want to continue burning gas at $3.00 a gallon and going to four or are you going to stay home and only go when you can pay cash and here is the key for something you absolutely need, not have. To make a point this is the only thing you can do.
Isn't it about time when we celebrate Chrismas as it was intended to be because it is Christmas and not about spending money? Oh by the way many of these new foreigns don't want us celebrating Christmas any more. You know something they will most likely get their way.
Now the sad part of this article is what I realize. This will not reach the masses of average and poor. Why, they cant afford a computer and even if they have one they cant afford to pay for internet charges. Also, many don't even know how to use a computer. Then again many of them just get by day to day and have no time to read the daily trash. So I expect it will fall on deaf ears and blind eyes. Yes and these same types will get in again. Poor bastards like the cow going to slaugther they just follow one behind the other.
Yes, middle America and the poor are at the end of the line and ready to collapse. Sorry but the only choice left is to Boot all these so called leaders out before you fans at the football game just might not be able to afford that seat any longer. Yes, laugh now and laugh hearty, like I always say, better your are right then I.
