Great Dave.

You know, the way Bush treated the Dali Lama today is a good example of what you are talking about. (As if he read your email before the meeting!) I was impressed by George Bush, and reminded myself not to be judgemental, but look at each situation with new eyes.

Dave, while I sincerely appreciate your efforts you seem to have forgotten what he stated and I will quote Mr. President Bush "Money always trumps peace". In my opinion, the only way for this man to change is for him to lose everything and come up through the ranks. That will never happen. It is all about and always will be MONEY, MONEY, MONEY and making More Money. After all Money has only one alligiance and that is in making more. Good job. Respectfully, RTM

Well in my opinion Mr. Mellacio, money is a disease that lingers over all of us. However I do believe there is, perhaps not a cure but rather an antidote to restrain its plague from spreading. I believe even the most severely affected by this disease can learn to control its infection.
as far as what he said about "money trumps peace" if money is used wisely it can trump peace. money isn't all evil it's the love of money that is the root of all evil (according to the Bible)

David, while we don't see eye to eye on some things, I agree our President is not what he portrayed on the election trail. My biggest issue with someone running for any office is their value of life. I'm not talking about the war, I'm talking about pro-life. If life is truly valued, then I believe the other things will start falling into place.

Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I’m what I call a natural democrat and although I also consider myself a liberal (don’t get me wrong) a liberal is a dirty word to conservatives. My stand on liberalism is for the reason I believe in change. Although I do not need a decision from a supreme court justice “in favor of,” or a sermon from a preacher “opposed” telling me that murder can be justifiable. I consider abortion in any form as murder. A strong statement but I believe this to be true.

The only thing I see Bush doing good is his stand on abortion and stem cell research. however how can a man save a baby's life and then sentence that same child to death 20 or 30 years later for committing a crime? I'm also opposed to the death sentence.

and war itself isn't justifiable not in today's world

David, thanks for saying what so many of us think. If our President would spend as much time on domestic situations, many of the foreign ones would disappear. Situations such as honor and honesty, truth and dignity amoung our representatives.

Thank you Gary, I just don't see how anyone with such a big responsibility as Commander in Chief can keep his mind on domestic issues while our boys are in harms way. Could you work at you job responsibly Gary if your daughter was in Iraq?

I believe President Bush started his first term in office on a strong, decisive note. He knew what he wanted to do and he did it. Now it's as if he's lost direction and will. He needs to decide what he wants to do and how he wants to do it, and then do it. And to heck with the naysayers.

Actually Danny, when Bush first took office we were not engaged in war. I believe his big mistake after 9/11 was going to war blindly. Why Iraq? They were not responsible for 9/11, we are in Iraq for the oil not to bring democracy to the people. I also believe Osama Bin Laden can be dealt with through negotiation.

As far as him losing direction and will, well we are a nation of the people. One man cannot rule on his own that would be a dictatorship. We need the naysayers to question our judgement.

Regretably David, I think Mr Bush is a character who is not sufficiently evolved to be able understand the merrit of your words. Perhaps his children's children will fare better.

Well CB, President Bush is in the same age bracket as you and me. Therefore by nature he is in the same groove as we are. I believe he has evolved enough to understand what the world truly needs and is asking for. He just seems to want to preserve our barbarous past.

To me CB today’s aggressive are not natural, they are merely all wind. As I point out in my article the tough guy image went out of style. Today’s world is composed of lousy actors, they even enjoy trying to make people believe they are psychologically ill. I can’t help but laugh at these so called new nuts in today’s society. I lived with the real ones when they were real not phony.
I may have lost you here CB, or do you understand what I’m saying?

Dave,

I write on Searchwarp about my disease, multiple sclerosis. In the past year my MS has debilitated me. My comment about Bush is this. He has vetoed bills that would make stem cell research a possibility. If he or one of his immediate family had MS or something else debilitating I bet he would change his mind on stem cell research pretty quick! That's all I got for now.

Mr. Wegner, I sympathize with your condition. I don’t know that much about stem cell research however I understand it involves destroying an embryo. As I am opposed to abortion I stand against destroying of life for any reason.
