Whether it is working late or partying late, often the next morning has you ruing the previous evening. Wrinkles, bags and dark circles under the eyes are not attractive. Puffiness around the eyes is not attractive. Whether it is a hard lifestyle or genetics, you can develop unattractive facial features. The question is how to repair the damage.
The damage to the skin shows up as lines, wrinkles, bags and a dark discoloration. Two things need to be repaired. Most importantly, the skin needs to be nourished, hydrated and allowed to regenerate. The second repair is the discoloration. It will fade and disappear as the skin is renewed and becomes healthy again. Unfortunately, we may not want to wait for our bodies to repair the damage. We need to go to the office now.
That leads to a number of solutions which have been tried and tested over the years by many sufferers from the dreaded dark smudges under the eyes. No matter whether you worked round the clock or partied round the clock, you are looking for a solution which is more than a severe cover up with makeup.
There are many long term solutions, the best of which is live a healthy lifestyle, drink plenty of water, eat nutritious meals, exercise regularly and sleep 6-8 hours per night. I strongly recommend that solution. However to deal with the immediate issues lets look at some home made remedies:
Eye cream: Mix 5 drops of almond oil with 3 ripe avocado slices. Dab around the eyes for approximately 5 minutes and rinse. This remedy is often seen on TV.
Bleaching eye cream: Apply a natural bleaching substance around the eyes and relax for several minutes with a warm damp face cloth over your eyes, rinse. I do not mean cleaning bleach! Examples of items with natural bleaching properties are: unsweetened applesauce mixed with raw grated potatoes, cucumbers, and tea bags.
Herbal compresses can reduce puffiness. Use warm and cool compresses alternately, 10 minutes each. Steep sage leaves or dill for about 10 minutes in boiling water. Strain and pour into two separate containers. Use cotton balls to absorb each mixture. Dont forget to alternate between warm and cool. Rinse when complete.
Reportedly the best home made remedy uses lemon juice, tomato puree, orange lentil flour and turmeric powder. Mix until a paste. Apply on the dark circles under the eyes for 15 minutes, then rinse. This may be the best natural wrinkle cream and it will also lighten the dark circles under the eyes.

Since 2002, with health issues limiting his activities, Mike focused on computer based businesses that he could operate from his home office. Happily, the health issues are disappearing.
