Loop wire-edged bronze organza ribbon with gold edging to make a rosette secure with wire at the back. Glue a cedar cone to the center, adding a contrast in texture.
Cut small ovals of corrugated cardboard spray with metallic silver paint. When dry, decorate by gluing shells that have been sprayed with gold and silver metallic paint, pearls, beads, rhinestones, etc. to the cardboard. Add a bow made with flat silver cord gathered in loops.
Three dried thinly-sliced orange rounds glued one overlapping the other and topped with an attractive copper-colored satin or organza ribbon. Attach a piece of cinnamon stick to the center of the bow, if desired.

Place the gift in the center and fold each of the four points up to meet in the middle, forming a pyramid. Thread an 18-inch length of ribbon or gold cord through the hole and tie in a bow. If desired, use a sponge dipped in acrylic (craft) paint in a contrasting color that has been watered down to dab randomly on the pyramid box to create a design.
Wire-edged ribbon makes lovely large bows that never look wimpy. Choose wispy organza for glamorous gifts, or stripped taffeta for a more sophisticated bow.
