Because there are so many of Blogger blogs and web portals about blogs on the world wide web, it can be a challenge to set your blog from other internet sites, from the vast number of other blogs. To create a web log that will blow away your competition, you will need to have unique and relevant content, or you will need to do the same thing that an another high traffic blog does but in a more unique and captivating manner.

A great method for uncovering a hot market for your blogging web site is to look at the sites that have been successful in obtaining the appropriate blogging audience to analyze their methods and see if you can incorporate them to acquire your goals. Of course, you should add your personal and unique touch as a way of separating yourself from your competition. Many people agree that the web sites that do the best in today's market are the sites that have the most personality. The most unique internet surfers who are bloggers are a demographic that responds especially strongly to personality, so pay close attention to ways to build your blog or website with a unique and attractive feeling by adding your own touch and ideas to your site's design and content.

After you have identified your unique idea for your website or blog, have pinpointed a special niche that you are well equipped to fill, and have added your unique touch and feel to the site, the next step is figuring out how to get the word out to bloggers. In the long run, a great idea just isn't enough to propel your blogging web site to success. You will need to draft well organized and highly researched marketing plan that will draw highly motivated readers to your site. Once you attract a blogger, personal touch and well organized content will have them returning often, but it is crucial to attract them first or your site won't be allowed to stand above the rest.

Good comments Scott and no doubt valid BUT, I have viewed some hugely popular blogs and I find them excrutiatingly dull so cannot for the life of me fathom what it is that draws such a wide and recurring audience.

My Girl talk blog is gathering momentum, and my dreamers website was unexpectedly popular.

But they do not compare to many out there who are (to me at least) dull.

I will thus never try to replicate their style, regardless of how successful.
