So, shop earlier and take advantage of those holiday deals.

Traveling to Friends and Family

The holiday season is a popular time of year to travel to friends' and familys' homes. Make sure you book all of your travel arrangements in advance. You can great wonderful deals by booking airfare, hotels, and rental cars a month or two ahead of time. Otherwise, you will have to depend on other people canceling their travel arrangements to be able to get a good flight, hotel, or car.

Getting Ready for Guests

Finally if you are having guest visiting you, you want to get your home ready for them. Assuming that you would already have your holiday decorations displayed, you should clean and straighten up your home from dusting your furniture to cleaning your kitchen to straightening up the bedrooms to cleaning windows. If your guests are staying over, make sure the bedrooms are clean and have comfortable linens.
