Small Artificial or Real Table Tree

Spring Clothespins

Ornament Hangers

Cotton Balls

Modeling Clay

Glue Gun

Paint and Brush

What better way to surprise someone special than to make them their very own Christmas Tree! It is an inexpensive and creative way to show family members and friends how much you care and how special they are to you.

1. The tree - get a small tree that will fit where you plan to put it or is easily transportable. If you plan to transport the tree, we suggest that you decorate it at it's destination.

Objective - Decorate a small tree with ornaments that are unique and special to the recipient. These can include small objects that reflect their interests, photographs or basically anything that can fit on a tree without weighing it down too much.

Depending upon what you plan to put on the tree we recommend the following supplies:

2. Spring Clothespins - Use these to attach pictures or paper objects such as greeting cards. Simple glue the picture to the flat edge of the clothespin and use the pin part to attach to the tree.

3. Ornament Hangers - Attach these with the use of the Glue Gun to small objects such as matchbox cars, little dolls, etc.

4. Cotton Balls - Good for trimming the tree to give it a snowy effect.

5. Modeling Clay - Make your own objects. You don't have to be artistic, just creative. Make your ornament in clay, let it dry and paint it, attach an ornament holder (use the glue gun) and it's ready to hang on the tree.

6. Glue Gun - We recommend a glue gun, but any adhesive will work.

7. Paint and Brush - This is optional for painting paper or clay objects.

Some ideas -

Greeting Card Tree - Simply glue the greeting card to the clothespin, covering up as much of the pin as possible and hang on the tree.

Special Theme Tree - Using theme jewelry that can be found in our store, attach the pin to an ornament hanger and hang on the tree. This would be a great way to give a gift.

Gift Tree - Attach a number of small gifts, such as matchbox cars, dolls, etc. to ornament hangers and hang on the tree.

Theme Ornament Tree - Hang with ornaments that the person likes. Some suggestions can be found here.

Your possibilities are only restricted by your imagination.

Make sure to make a topper with the recipients name on it.

Once you tree is done, you can even put the recipients presents under their very own tree.

Have fun and most importantly have a very Merry Christmas!
