Ladies do not settle for second best this year. Wear a Miss Santa costume to a Christmas fancy dress party and you will be the number one attraction. Forget the Green Elf, the Perky Pixie and Santa's Little Helper. Guys only have eyes for Little Miss Santa, so find out how you go about creating the perfect Miss Santa costume.

Miss Santa Costume Hat
For the classic Miss Santa look, the hat can be either red or burgundy velvet. Additionally the white hair band and pom-pom add an extra touch of authenticity. When wearing a Miss Santa hat make sure it elegantly droops down to shoulder length. It should not point skyward or alternatively hang completely bedraggled. To be taken seriously by the guys, only choose a hat with one pom-pom, no strips and definitely no knitwear!

Miss Santa Costume Dress
The choice of Santa dress is where your personality shines through. Styles of Santa dresses are plentiful and finding a style to match your personality is the key to success. Red velvet tailored figure hugging dresses with faux white fur provide for the classic miss Santa look. Strapless dresses and accompanying pom-pom tied capelet add a very feminine twist to the classic style. Alternatively for the more adventurous the all in one satin miss Santa hooded jacket will always turn a few heads.

Miss Santa Costume Footwear
When it comes to footwear there are two choices both equally appealing and both imparting very different personalities on your costume. Red knee high stretch velvet Santa boots add a traditional feel to your costume. Whereas stunningly seductive, the addition of red ankle strapped shoes covered with white fur is an inspired choice. For a sexier looking outfit white fishnet stockings may be an option for the more daring among us.

Miss Santa Costume Gloves
Not considered an absolute necessity, elbow length opera gloves trimmed in faux fur can add a sense of feminine elegance and sensuality to your outfit. Breakfast at Tiffany's staring Audrey Hepburn and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes staring Marilyn Monroe both had particularly good scenes featuring opera gloves. An endorsement from such iconic leading ladies speaks for itself.

Miss Santa Costume Accessories
Personalizing your Miss Santa Costume is accomplished with accessories. This is your chance to stand out from the crowd. Maybe a black belt with buckle to emphasizes your fantastic figure. Christmas themed earrings, bracelet and do not forget the Jingle Bells. Finally throw out the Gucci handbag for the night and replace it with a petit miss Santa sack with two delicate white shoulder straps. Fill your sack with presents and you are ready to go.

Ho Ho Ho!!!! And a Merry Christmas to you
Wow look at your Miss Santa Costume. Looking absolutely fabulous from head to toe, a jolly time is guaranteed full of Christmas spirit. This year the lady under the mistletoe will be you. All your hard work has been worthwhile, but watch out for Jingle Elf and Pipsqueak Pixie those two rascals cannot be trusted.
