These are the people who bring misery into others lives. They connive, cheat, lie, steal, they abuse, exploit and use, they take, they hurt and they manipulate. Yes, now here is the key point as I have discussed in my prior articles, these miserable types really don’t see themselves as such. You see they are just doing what they have to for business reasons, or they are just doing something that makes sense to them, or as one Senator stated, they just want people to understand fiscal responsibility and all the while taking away their bankruptcy protection. Yet, all the while in my opinion he is the true definition of a “miserabile". Actually the root word is miser, cheap, selfish, self centered, all for themselves and their objectives.
Yes, these are the same corporate giants who get to write off billions and then follow up with a tax savings and to boot while you get your credit ruined and all sorts of problems. These are the same who have billions to pump into the market to shore up their empires but not a nickel for health care or you. Yes, if they are not the truly "miserabile" who are? Their deeds and works make good and decent people miserable in their spirit and being and they inflict suffering on them, but they are "miserabile" in a much different context and in a much different sense. These "miserabile" are the creators of misery and they are truly saturated in their very being as "miserabile" by their deeds and works and by the very nature of their being, character, morals as in my opinion these people are. Yet, they are further from the miserable conditions that they create then they could ever possibly know.
So as a young man I heard about the “miserabile" types. My grandparents warned me and said these people go through life sowing the seeds of discord and strife and all the while they believe and actually make themselves out as being correct and good in their deeds.
You see they even have the look upon their faces. It isn’t warm and gentle no it is hard and cold and calculating. You see it in their gestures and motions and body language. The wink, the nod to each other for the approval of what they know is a lie, a half-truth, etc. They walk and carry themselves as if superior and somehow "different", which they truly are, but not in the sense they percieve. The good know them because they can sense their true intentions. Yes, even though they give at church and everyone flocks to them and they are held in esteem and people want from them there is always a price to be paid in dealing with them. Like the "Godfather", always at a price.
Now many do not like these type of articles because they convict, they point out exactly what this world is without all the fluff, the charade, the Easter Bunny images, Yes, it is a cruel, hard, evil world in many ways and not by nature but by mankind. So they dispise when it is openly pointed out. They run from it. In the case of the computer they shut it down or move from it for fear it will convict their spirit. The religious tend to say they are not of the world and all the while forgetting they are to change this world.
No, man is even destroying that which gives them life and they need to sustain life. The very water, air and substance from the ground that keeps them alive and yes all in the name of MONEY and GREED and WEALTH. Do they fear not having this, no. They do not think, they above all, will never have.
Yet, are there good people on this planet? Well the answer thank God is yes. Are there gentle souls on this planet? The answer is yes. Are there those who truly have a real love of neighbor? Certainly yes, but not those who are quick to claim they are. No, not those who profess what is good just for the moment or for some objective they have are not those I refer to. No, not them who promise but in their heart of hearts know the real truth is far from what they say. No, not those who plunder people of all they have in riches and in their very being. The humble have no need to profess because their deeds go before them and profess it for them.
No, these "miserabile" do not even know who they are for they only see themselves as I stated as the good. Everyone else is a low life, lazy, irresponsible, incapable, ignorant, stupid and fools and on and on and on. No, they never see their fellow man as another human, a person of value, someone who can contribute. Yes, even those who support them are unfortunately of the same ideals, opinion, beliefs. They see nothing wrong and they go about their business as they did in the days of Noah. How true is truth?
So for the life of me I can’t understand why God made this world knowing, yes knowing how really bad it is? Yes, I can’t understand how God made this world with all its evil and knowing only He can save us all? I know God has His reasons and a plan. All I can say is boy God sure must love us to walk the walk He has to each day. Yes, no church, no priest, no ritual, no Alter Call, [oh my you mean you accepted Jesus and your saved so you can continue your ways], I think not, check it out, no Rabbi or anything else you do can save you. Everything we do is but rags before God. Only God, The Lord God can save you from your evil.
So here is the kicker. Fear God and change. You can wear your robes, profess and fill stadiums, be renowned, a world leader, respected by all and the masses of people here on earth but in reality you are nothing, zero, nada before God. You are His creation to dispose of as he sees fit without so much as a Word, except if you humble yourself and ask Him for His mercy. Is He waiting for you, certainly, but it takes you!
Yes, the good understand this. They understand the terrible nature of God. Yes, they understand His wrath and they fear Him. So continue your ways, your deeds, your actions because God allows you time to change, convert to be Born Again, yes truly Born Again and not just a quick 20' walk and a goodnight. Yes, to walk humbly, without the garments of this world, naked as Saint Francis did who gave up all in this earthy realm for the Kingdom of God and to truly do all for love of neighbor.
So, you who know in the recesses of your heart who I am talking to, the ones who laugh and scorn this type of writing, continue your walk with collecting riches and power and might at the expense of others. You know you can quote all the scripture you want and say anything to allow yourself to ignore the truth. Riches of themselves are not evil it is why you gather them; how you use them and how you made them that the evil is attached to.
As for me I do not exclude myself from my own writing. I too must understand that in life we can be seen as ones who bring peace and good, or the “miserabile".
