Trying to get rid of belly fat can be very hard to do , but with these 5 steps you should be able to get a hold on it and start getting it to disappear. Sometimes keeping it simple and doing basic things are what works to get lose belly fat quick.

Drink and Be Merry

You hear alot about drinking water . Our bodies use it to flush out all the waste and toxins and the kidneys are always needing more water because Americans don't drink enough of the stuff.Your body will just hold onto the fat that it can't flush through your bodies waste systems and deposit it onto your stomach and other areas. Studies show that Americans walk around dehydrated and they drink too much soda and coffee. Caffeine is a diuretic and makes your body flush out way too much water and if you don't drink enough then thats even worse!.So do yourself and your body a favor and drink up . Obey your thirst .

Inhale the Air not Your Food.

We don't sit around the dinner table much any more and connect over our food like grandma used to do. We are always on the go and we lose out on so much of life like how to savor the food we eat. Food is meant to be enjoyed and savored like a fine wine so slow down and take a couple of minutes to chew your food . Take slower bites and you will fill up faster ,plus it will taste so much better and your stomach will have time to digest it. Enjoy the flavors when you take a taste and don't be in such a rush to eat.

Use A Childs Plate

If you don't have a kid then use a saucer. It will help you with portion control. We often eat whatever is put in front of us at a restaurant , eating everything on the plate! Often that will add up to many many calories. Use a smaller plate when you eat and this will help you from going overboard.

Watch What Foods You Eat

It is prudent to not only watch the portions but also what you are eating. Stay away from the rich sugary foods . If you have to have them set a day once a week or only half a day once a week that you can have all the junk food you want. Call this your pig out day and have pizza or any fattening dinner you want.Or eat just 2 cookies instead of 5 or 6. But too much junk will go right to the trunk.

Exercise the Pooch

Or if you don' t have one then walk yourself . You have to have exercise on a get rid of belly fat list. Just getting off the couch and moving in some way will help kick up your metabolism and burn more calories. Add some light weights. Studies show that doing weight training keeps the body burning fat for hours after a training session. Do some dance with a tape that you bought for the t.v like some kind of jazzercise or go to the gym and walk around the track a couple of times . To lose belly fat quick you have to keep moving.

Mixin it All Up

Try these tips and see if they don't make a difference .Understanding how to get rid of belly fat is to know that one method alone won't work. You need several methods to lose belly fat quick and get back the slim and trim you.
