Here are few of the issues that sort of get my dander up. I don't know if they bother you or not but I do suspect if your are a caring person it does bother you somewhat?  So here are few examples of what I am speaking to for you to ponder. Yes, can we wash our hands of it all?

Yesterday I received a response from someone in Congress concerning credit card debt. Of course I was advised about all the wonderful things they are "working on". Yes, it was all about people and not much about the credit card companies, how strange. Only being a little sarcastic here. When I say people one might think to protect or assist them, but nothing could be further from the truth. I was even advised how people need to be more informed and that they were working on training to advise people who use cards as to what the risks are and how to read the fine print. Oh, yes and how raising the rate is all legal for those who don't pay on time. Rhetorically of course, one might add how dare they fall behind. However, nowhere was the 31% interest mentioned which can and is being charged as perhaps being morally wrong and maybe being usurious? Does that bother you or are you not impacted [yet] by it? In fact it was more toward the direction as I stated and in my opinion and I'll use my own interpretation, read the fine print. So, can we wash our hands of it all?

Well we all know you can do nothing in today's society without credit cards, period. Think not then try booking a plain flight or use cash for most of anything for that matter. The reply elaborated concerning people who pay their bills on time but failed to mention those who fall on hard times, are fired, or are just plain out of work who used their cards for emergencies, like paying the electric bill or buying food, medicine. Not right, well I'll get to that later on down in the article. As I stated above, nowhere was it mentioned concerning those who had been paying on time and fell behind by even a few hours or even a day and had their rates changed to 31% and all within the law. Yes, the law they fabricated and signed off on. Nowhere, to my recollection, was the fact that every cardholder that person has can now do the same and nowhere was it mentioned that if this happens it can in many instances push people beyond what they are capable of paying. To think many Americans do not live from pay check to pay check is  one presumes in their way of thinking an unreasonable assumption. They had been paying fine but now they are in trouble. Well let them read the fine print before using that card and no it is never benign when one talks about money! In my opinion rape, murder and child abuse have lessor punishment then not paying your bills on time. No, quite frankly, in my opinion, can we wash our hands of it all?

Yes and no where was  the number of remedies mentioned that these card companies have top write off and get paid on bad debt.Yes, and no where was it stated how the card holder is punished for their ‘low life" activity and what that does to their financial future. No, nowhere was that even considered other then they are "working on" issues and one has to wonder are they going to give more protection to these card companies? Frankly, in my opinion once again when it comes to people Can we wash our hands of it all?

So if 31% interest doesn't concern those in Congress then just what does? Ok, I surrender, I understand, nothing. If 31% interest is not high, as they thenselves will say, then why did they and why do they allow it. They someohow omit they write the laws that allow it. The guy on the corner was a cheaper buy and they put him in jail. Is 31% immoral and if not just where does it stop and for that matter what is immoral any longer? You want to know why; in my opinion can we wash our hands of it all?

Next I read an article out of a large well known newspaper which talks about illegal immigrants and people breaking the law every day for traffic tickets, prostitution and other "benign" crimes and why all the discussion or concern? He elaborates on why these people are good for the country. They sure are and where can we get more cheap labor? Oh they pay into the system he states. Yes and they get a hell of a lot more back in what we call free education and social services. Something many Americans do not have and "that's a fact Jack, as the movie goes. Yes these people are exploited and do need help, but it can all be done legally without the "Comprehensive Immigration" they long to pass, which in my opinion is to bolster their ideology and agenda. Yes, and they do by nature of fact take jobs from low wage and poor Americans seeking them, a fact many of Americans do not care to recognize or understand, why because in my opinion can we wash our hands of it all?

So, getting back to it all, just what are benign crimes? Who decides which are and which aren‘t and who decides which are enforced or not? Is identity theft, which I thought was necessary to secure employment, a benign crime? Tell that to the person who's identity was stolen. Since when did these people become "immigrants"? When did they go through the "legal" process and filed for immigration?  When did they WAIT to come here like some waiting legally 20 years or more and still waiting? I thought that is why they are called "illegal workers"? The very word illegal indicates it is against the law. Sorry we must use Politcial Correctness, Ethical Relativity and The Law of Selective Application when we speak about this. We really don't want to offend people with truth. Can we wash our hands of it all?

Yes and they certainly are not "undocumented". Why, well  just go to any government social service, their employer, a school where their children go and even the banks and credit card companies and they'll tell you who they are. They do need insurance to drive don't they, just like the rest of us do, at least we think they do, right? Sure go ahead and ignore it and just like those who do and in my opinion can we wash our hands of it all?

Now just where are the ministers, religious and others who profess they are all loving and Gods people in all this? Where is their outcry against 31% interest, job layoffs, the breaking of the law, the commission of crime and sin, oh did sin go away and is it now a benign sin to steal? Did someone inform God that His commandments now have amendments? No, not righteous preaching just a question? Last I looked stealing is stealing, period. So we get back to it is ok to steal if you are hungry, starving, etc. Well one can presume God will understand, that is if you have exhausted all other avenues first and even then that is His call not ours. So if I walk into any retailer and steal to feed my children it is ok with everyone. After all it is a benign act, right? Try that in some of these retailers and see what you get. Try that before a judge and see what you get. Then again who do we exclude from this, the poor American family in the same shape as they? Oh, all Americans are wealthy one can presume? After all isn't $97,000 per year what two leading presidential candidates say is the mean average income for middle income families in America? The simple fact is no one cares to know any truth and in my opinion can we wash our hands of it all?

Now finally we get to the shooter who killed 9 people in that store during this season of peace and love. To say he should have taken responsibility when there are millions literally in the same mental state, a product of our systems and social environment our morality and our lack of concern for our fellow human beings is simply  in my opinion as doing nothing and can we wash our hands of it all?

Yes, call yourself whatever you want, trash talk me and others who point it out, complain and gripe, accuse and mock but frankly you are in my opinion more like the majority, regardless of your status or position in life. Yes, those who go about their business day to day without caring or wanting to care about anything but themselves and who really if truth be told could care less about their neighbor and in my opinion can we wash our hands of it all?

Thank god it is not everyone. There are many who care and try hard each day and to you I say I'm sorry for the candid talk which is not directed at you. Yet, like in my prior articles just what does it take to move people and yes like a prior article of mine stated, I don't know about you but I'm tired of it all. Can we wash our hands of it all?
