Why Religion Doesn’t Work We cannot have an immortal soul in a human body and still believe in the Heaven/Hell Damnation/Bliss concepts.

If the soul is immortal and from God, it must be at least part God. And since God is perfect, the soul must be perfect. Hence, re-incarnation theories – in whatever context – do not hold up to scrutiny because improvement in one’s soul at each go-around is baseless. The soul is already perfect.

Why should a perfect soul be sent to Eternal Damnation because it was in a human body for only a blip in the context of Time.

Our bodies are finite yet made of the same stuff that makes up all the rest of the pieces of the universe the same as the stars and therefore, neverending.

All species develop some structure that provides safety and sustenance to the group. All living groups have order direction of movement build where they live move their homes experience birth and death defend when attacked, have a hierarchy develop a food chain, etc.

Humans do it in their way and we are finding more and more evidence pointing to the fact that our societal structure is the only difference between our species and any other on this planet.

If, for example, our society gave 100% freedom of choice to anyone after they attain puberty, we’d have a very different society.

And, of course, our legal system is the keynote of our difference. We separate ourselves by punishing our own those who disobey.

Does that ever happen in any other societal structure in any species? Is that our signature on this planet that we punish our own for disobeying?

And for all other species, does each member always obey the same structure without variations (are there no real Jonathan Seagulls) they just do without any thoughts of right or wrong (even as far as “right" for the community)?

Or, do other species also exhibit an awareness of right and wrong? Of course they do. But what happens to the one that disobeys? And God where is He among these thoughts? Just watching. And probably in amazement at what we do and say. It is likely that of all His creations, only humans can amaze God. Any questions that have not already been answered?
