So here we are, it's Christmas day, No work, no jobs and yes no pay. Some went off to war and to die.
Some parents this day will suffer and cry.
Misery everywhere and even more.
The knock of the greedy for more at your door.
Oh sure they profess a belief in God too.
But His commands they do not do.
So here we are, it's Christmas day.
Is there anything else one can say?
Oh sure, believers celebrate Christ's birth.
While the whores and wolfs widen their girth.
Their tone and inflection say they want more.
They get fat on the sorrows and hurt of the poor.
We'll make arrangements, but pay or else.
Their attitude bristles of only themself.
So here we are, it's Christmas day.
I feel an urge that I should pray.
For those who profess but are not what they say.
For the merchant who charges 31% and more. For those who placed you at Bankruptcy's door.
What happened to morality, religious don't say a thing.
For those exploited, or profit and Bling.
For politicians whose soul must be cold as ice?
For all those who don't know how to be nice.
So here we are, it's Christmas day. Lets remember we are, what we say?
This world is rotten that we all know.
But mercy is what we have to show.
So for all those suffering this Christmas day.
Like many others, in varied ways.
A loved one dying, a child lost in war.
A young girl forced to become the whore.
And all the rest who make woe and strife.
Yes, pray also for their eternal life.
So here we are, it's Christmas day. Pray hard for them, they have lost their way.
Forgive them, yet they know what they do.
Because on this morning our answer came through.
The birth of a Child, Emmanuel His name. The King of Mercy and Love His fame.
And that is our hope, what we must seek.
This world He gives, to the humble and meek.
So here we are, it's Christmas day.
Turn off the phone, put your troubles away.
Love them that love you, in a Christmas way.
Don't let the miserable ruin your day.
Enjoy the peace of Christmas this way.
Spread peace and Love to all I say.
Now here is my wish we all should do
Merry Christmas to all and may God Bless You!
