In the spirit of Divine Mercy and for all in need of prayer and hope I unite my prayer to theirs and believe that whatever two of us ask in His name it will be done by His Father in Heaven for the Glory of God the Father and according to His Word. If you believe or not He will answer if you call upon Him. So, I humbly ask you to unite in prayer with me for all who need Gods mercy and deliverance this day from their trials, woes and sorrows. It is a gift from God to those whom He loves. So, to all who say they are and who profess to be, join me in mercy for all of our fellow man.

I also believe that regardless of your denomination you are not parting with any belief because we recognize Jesus as come in the Flesh and is God. For those of other faiths who do not hold our values or beliefs it is still a prayer of mercy and I truly believe it does not hold any words which would bring you discomfort in your faith and it is separate from what I have written outside of the poem itself.

My Peace and the Blessings of the Lord be upon you all. Amen!

A new day dawning, our hope renewed.

So here I am this New years day.

I sit and ponder what to say.

Of course all prefer good cheer.

Of strife and woe we've had all year.

A new day dawning, our hope renewed.

We trust no man, only in You.

So we unite, in this solemn prayer,

Each one of us that you hold dear.

We know we sin, we cause you pain.

Our hearts prideful and our nature vain.

But humbly we come to You.

For Mercy and also Compassion too.

A new day dawning, our hope renewed.

The God of Mercy we know is true.

To deliver us from what we have done.

Our folly and sins we confess as one.

Who because of our evil ways.

Have allowed this world to hold sway.

Deliver us from this trial we endure.

This cross grows heavy, I can stand no more.

Lord, where else can we go?

You are our hope, this we all know.

So humbly and subdued we all come to You.

For once again we hold this to be true.

That You will never turn us away.

If we repent and trust this day.

And turn from that which brought us here.

To the point of sorrow, worry and fear.

Lord lift our spirits, deliver us all.

Answer us Lord and hear our call.

We pray for all men everywhere

The sinner, the saint you hold all dear.

So, hasten Lord and harken to our need.

Thank you Lord for your Love we need.

And deliver us from our current sorrow.

That we can look forward to a new tomorrow,

Amen!

Another good article...yet proper formatting, spelling, and maybe rewritng a sentence or two would make it smoother to read. When you wrote "If you are a believer or not because He will answer if you call upon Him. " it was an incomplete thought...less of these means a better understanding for your readers.

Hi, I agree, what a beautiful prayer! Lord have your way! What you wrote about agreeing in Jesus are echoed in my "sing a song of praise" article, denominational barriers can be broken when we focus on who Jesus is. Blessings to you for the new year.

Yes, you do a great job with your work. Thank you for your kindness. I am bringing my writiing up a notch and addessing what I feel we and certainly I as believers should be creating in this world. It may not be comfortable but in reality if what I say is hard or direct and makes someone think about it perhaps that is a good thing? Certainly without offending. God bless and all the best Teresa.
