After living here in San Francisco over the past few years and being a writer of behavioral and spiritual insight, I’ve become aware of a quite interesting phenomenon concerning the Island of Alcatraz. This interest has personally been observed, studied and pondered. Every reflective moment I have placed upon the subject of Alcatraz always comes back with one simple question. Why? I’ve attempted to answer this question with the understanding of economics and how this “post medieval" tourist attraction tends to create the morbid fascination much like the sub-conscious need to observe a horrific traffic accident. This morbid attraction of energy is quite effective in the drawing in of likened energies. We all possess an attraction to this particular energy. This is an energy we all carry inside, yet it remains the influence of environment which can allow this morbid energy it’s escape our essence. Alcatraz has always been synonymous with escapism.
To many, these following thoughts may seem completely esoteric. This I do not doubt for it is this line of thought which has allowed Alcatraz to continue to exist with this energy of morbid fascination. Alcatraz has not only attracted millions of tourists to it’s shores but it has also attracted an ongoing release of morbid energies from those same tourists day in and day out since this island of isolation was closed in 1964. The United States of America offered this gift of ignorance to the Bay Area without us consciously realizing it’s influence of likened energy forces at play here. The Bay Area has always possessed a strong energy of attraction throughout it’s history with the Gold Rush in the 1800’s and the creation of Silicon Valley in the late 1900’s. As most energy experts are aware, frequency of energies are transmitted at a much greater rate of speed when traveling over water than by land. The Bay Area’s geographical location alone has created a powerful energy pocket in this region. If one looks at the environmental geography of the area, you will notice that San Francisco and it’s surrounding areas are in close proximity to water therefore allowing energy frequencies quicker rates of speed with the possible likelihood of unknowing assimilation. This type of energy point stands not alone, for there exist many of these geographical energy pockets on our planet today. We are just not yet consciously aware of their influences. We are somewhat aware that they exist but nothing more at this point. If someone would tell us that the energy emanating from the small island of Alcatraz was effecting the surrounding Bay Area in unconsciously adverse ways, we would more than likely suggest that this person be locked up... on Alcatraz itself! What if the energy currents which presently pass over Alcatraz continue to travel over water to the shores of a particular area to unconsciously create an energy emanating from morbid fascination? What would that influence create? What if the energy of morbid fascination was constantly brought to the mainland by boatloads each and every day? What if the energy of morbid fascination was used to attract others from around the world and then allowed to be released and dropped off at our doorstep? What if this energy of morbid fascination traveled to areas to unconsciously create areas of high crime, homicide rates and homelessness? It is not surprising that the energy in the Bay Area is highly developed and utilized. It is not surprising that the Bay Area is a highly reflective environment surpassing any geographical location on it’s mainland. The geographical structure of the New York area runs a close second yet the energy frequencies and their source of travel within the Bay Area seem to be slightly superior in esoteric terminology. Many will snicker and even laugh at this line of esoteric thought much like those who turned their noses at the thought of a flying machine or a possible moon landing. It’s no different. I am not the first to speak about the subject of a Transitional Alcatraz. Many have experienced a spiritual need for the healing of this ailing energy point we call Alcatraz. It is no surprise that the Native American Culture have attempted to heal this sick and blessed energy point in the past. Could it not be possible that our native own have felt the need for a healing to take place on this most neglected island? What would happen if we cleared this morbid prison of it’s electrifying energy? Could it possibly shift the energy of areas now touched by high crime, high homicide rates and high levels of homelessness? What if we allowed our own native tribes of our own homeland to heal this source of morbid energy? What if we would create a tribute on the island of Alcatraz dedicated to our native American brothers and sisters for healing this island? Who better to do so? What if we created a tribute and dedication to those Native American tribes and cultures who cared and preserved our homeland before we took it away from them? Would this tribute to our Native American ancestors aid in the healing of our current and ongoing problems with race relations in this country of so-called freedoms? What would happen if Alcatraz became a beam of light to heal our present homeland? What if Alcatraz attracted likened energy sources from around the globe to offer their blessings and appreciation? What would that bring to the Bay Area? Would the Bay Area now become a symbol for those all around the world to love, forgive and bless his fellow man? Would that energy frequency travel to those adjacent shores where it is needed to decrease social unrest? Would this beam of light emanating from this new Alcatraz change the face of man in our world today? We may never know unless we answer these questions ourselves through the belief in our own humanity. For those of you who remain linked to the capital nature of existence... would this not be an economically viable solution for economic rebirth in this area unlike anything we've experienced before?
I am not saying that we should forget about our nation's history that has taken place on this island, I am saying we should not allow the morbid energy to continue to flow from this island. Let us make a memorial to this prison so, we do not forget it's history but let us not focus and perserve it's skeleton to attract the essence of morbidity to prosper. It is like reconstructing the World Trade Center to it's proud glory so, we can remember what happened there. The powerful energy of this island has been working against us for long enough and I would stand on the highest mountain top to yell my disapproval of how it has been disrespected!
