How to apply eyeshadow
"Are there eyeshadows that go with different eye colors?"
Whatever your eye color, it's always safe to go with eyeshadows in natural shades of brown. We're obligated to tell you that, because it's our job, but this is the way we really feel: Why just be "safe" when you can be gorgeous?
Want to make your eyes stand out? Instead of matching eyeshadow to your eyes, use shades of eyeshadow that contrast with them. Warm-toned eyes like brown and hazel should use cool colors like violets, greens and blues. If you have cool-colored eyes in blue, green or gray, use warmer colors like pinks, peaches, taupe and honey-caramels. Because the colors are opposing, they really make the eyes pop!
Just don’t slather the stuff on too thickly. The key to a good-looking eyesahdow application is using good makeup brushes and blending (and blending and blending!) If you're not sure how to do this, go here for a good, simple eyeshadow application technique.
