Realistically speaking: what can 100 dollars do to make the world a better place? The world is a mighty big place with a vast amount of problems. Now if I had access to 100 million dollars to use to make the world a better place then the possibilities would be far greater for achieving some positive goals.
However if someone gave me 100 dollars and told me to use it to make the world a better place Hmmm let's see I could donate it to a soup kitchen where it would help a little to buy food for the homeless and hungry. But, would this act truly help make the world a better place?
Soup kitchen
Our government spends billions of dollars in Iraq supposedly to make life better in that country. However, we are losing many of our young men and women in the conflict and thousands of Iraqi citizens are being killed and living conditions are unbearable.
Actually, I believe if I was given 100 billion dollars to make the world a better place I wouldn't be successful. For to make the world a better place one would have to make himself or herself a better person.
Money cannot buy love and love is the only force that will make the world a better place to live in. true love is what the world sincerely needs today.
True, money can help improve living conditions in poverty-stricken neighborhoods. Perhaps get the wheels rolling on domestic issues. Actions backed up with love can conquer all the obstacles we face. The Lord offered his hand not his money
However, this assignment is based on what one could do with 100 dollars to improve the world. So perhaps what I'd do is try to make someone (a homeless person) happy for a short period of time. For 100 dollars is a lot of money to someone living in the streets. It will not solve any problems however, it will bring comfort for a short period of time. Not to everyone in the world only a small part of it.
