If you are continually stressed or worried, learn to slow down and nurture the feeling of trust and faith. Only then can you feel the joy in life. If we could all practice being grateful and smiling more this world would be a better place. It makes my day just to smile and give a little joy to someone else in my life - whether it be through common exchanges at the store or simple interactions with those around us. The giving and receiving of small acts of kindness changes the world as a whole.

Feeling joy is actually our greatest tool as spiritual beings because we become a carrier of light even in dark places. The simple act of being grateful connects us with the source and radiates this joyful light all around us and onto others. I was told once that walking the path can really be as simple as finding your greatest joy in life, and then consciously giving thanks. So I say, to uplift the world and make it a better place, become the joy that you wish to see. Everybody relates to a funny person, to a happy person, and a kind smile.
