There are so many ways we could make the world a better place. One sure-fire way to make the world a better place is to start by thinking about someone other than our self. Here are 10 ideas to get you thinking of how you can help others:
(1) Give four $25 small business loans to women in third-world countries to help them learn a trade and become self-supporting. Read more at http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/biz/Capital_borrowing/20001013.asp
(2) Give a less fortunate family in a third-world country the gift of food and income through your generous gift of a goat or pig. For more information click on the Gift Catalog option at http://www.worldvision.org/worldvision/master.nsf/.
(3) Show your support for our troops abroad by adopting a soldier and send him/her care packages and letters. For more details visit http://soldiersangels.org/.
(4) Send a child back to school in style by purchasing a backpack and filling it will all the school supplies they will need. Donate the backpack visit http://www.backpacksforkids.net/donate.html for more details.

Choosing to participate in any one of these ideas might set your heart on fire for others. After all Jesus taught us it is more blessed to give than to receive. You never know you might like helping others more than anything you have ever done before. Why not get it a try?
