We often have doubts about what we should wear to work. The appropriate work style depends a lot on the type of workplace, what looks good on you, and what you can combine to get the most out of each ensemble that you have.

Next we'll show you four ensembles for work.

We'll start by telling you about two formal styles for work.

       1     Black pantsuit with jacket.

       2      White shirt.

       3      Black shoes with heels.

The first option for work is a black pantsuit with jacket.  The jacket is semi-fitted with a simple button and the pants are straight. The shirt is smooth and white and the shoes are black and have medium-high heels.

  •  When can I use it?

As we've said before, it's a formal style for work.  It's appropriate for any environment, since it is a classic formal ensemble.  We can use it in jobs where we interact with the public, in offices, etc.

  •  How do I know if it will look good on me?

A formal suit gives a very elegant and professional look.  The straight leg pants stylize the legs and if it's black it gives you a very sharp and appropriate image for your professional environment.

  •  How can I adapt it?

The pantsuit has different variations, and we can find it in various colors such as brown, beige, etc.

We can play with the color of the blouse and adapt it to the style and workplace of each person.

        1     Brown pants

       2      Striped shirt

       3      Brown shoes and purse

Here we see brown pants with straight legs and a high rise.

The shirt has vertical brown stripes that match the color of the pants.

The bag is medium-large and earth-colored, with gold buckles and the shoes match and have a medium heel.

  • When can I use it?

We can use it for work, and if we complement it with a brown jacket we have a formal look with a dynamic touch created by the vertical lines.

  • How do I know if it will look good on me?

The straight leg pants with high rise stylize the lower part of the body.  To compensate, the vertical lines are ideal to stylize the torso as well.

The medium-heeled shoes (5 or 6 cm) will go well for work, since they are more agile and permit more range of motion for comfort, without losing the figure-stylizing effect of heels.

The bag is perfect, since it is of a medium size and is practical for holding everything necessary.

  • How can I adapt it?

To adapt this ensemble to make it more formal, we can change the shirt color and combine everything with different colors.

We can use a small scarf around the neck in a gentle color like pale rose which is very popular this season, and break the homogeneity of the browns.

Now that we've seen the formal ensembles, we'll move on to the more informal styles.

         1     Black pants

         2      High-neck black sweater

         3      Black shoes

        4      Necklaces

This ensemble is composed of knit black straight-leg pants, a high-necked black sweater of fine wool, and necklaces to break up the dark color. The shoes are medium-heeled and have a closed toe.

  • When can I use it?

This is a more informal style since we replace the shirt and jacket for a sweater.

We can use it for work with an elegant style but not so formal.

  • How do I know if it will look good on me?

This ensemble makes you look thinner, since it uses black and the pants are straight-legged.

The necklaces give us dynamism and reduce seriousness.

The shoes with heels, as we know, stylize the figure!

  • How can I adapt it?

If we want to project more accessibility, we can change the color of the sweater for any other, since the black pants will accept many color combinations.

We can also replace the necklaces for another accessory such as another kind of necklace or a scarf and match them with the shoes.  This will give a feminine and fun touch to your image.

      1     Jeans

      2      Blouse

      3      Black shoes

      4      Necklace

The jeans are straight and have a low rise.

The blouse is roomy and in a cream color, with a closed neck and a little button on the chest.

The shoes are black and we combine everything with a black and silver necklace.

  • When can I use it?

You can use this ensemble for going out on weekends as well as for working in an informal location.  It's very flattering since, although they are jeans, they are dark and they stylize the legs like black pants do.

  • How do I know if it will look good on me?

As we've mentioned before, the pants stylize the figure, and furthermore we complement them with medium heels, which are easy to wear.

The blouse is a good alternative to using a shirt or t-shirt.  It gives a feminine touch since it has puffy sleevs and the neck is adjustable however we prefer (more open or closed).

The use of a necklace gives a more fun touch to the ensemble and goes perfectly with the color of the shoes.

  • How can I adapt it?

We can change the color of the blouse for any other, since we're using jeans which go with anything.

We can also match the shoes to the color of the blouse.

The appropriate bag will depend on the color of the blouse or shoes.

Since this color is full of flattering colors, dare to try a dark orange or mustard color, which will give you a different and noticeable touch!
