Bouquet out of bubble gum piecies

1. Choose any flowerpot you like for this bouquet. I used a yellow and blue ceramic flowerpot  because it goes well with the wrappers of the Dubble Bubble Gum pieces.

2. Cut a piece of floral foam; it should fit snugly in the pot. Cut a piece of blue cello, put the piece of floral foam in the middle of this cello piece. Gather the cello up around the foam and insert it in the flowerpot. The foam should be about 1" lower than the rim of the pot.

3. Cover the floral foam with blue plastic grass or shredded paper.

4. Make several flowers using bubble gum pieces.
a) Take 16 or 18 ga stem wire, green floral tape, gum pieces, green floral tape, and tools (scissors and wire cutters).

b) Join 3 bubble gum pieces to each stem using floral tape. First, join a piece of candy to the end of the wire. 1 or 2" down the wire attach the second piece of gum. Finally, go down another 1 or 2"  and attach the third piece of gum.
I made 10 bubble gum flowers. You can make as many gum flowers as you want. I placed the tallest three flowers at the back of the bouquet.

5. Wrap the bubble gum flowers in cellophane.

a) Take a polka dot cellophane and  cut a square piece. I used 7" x 7" pieces.

b) Carefully poke the bubble gum flower stem through the center of a cello piece
c) Pull the cellophane up so it is just beneath the bubble gum pieces and tie it with a piece of yellow curling ribbon. Fluff the cellophane out.

Do the same with all of the bubble gum flowers.

6. Insert the flowers into the pot. Arrange the flowers in a way you like.

7. You may want to add additional pieces of blue cello here and there into the bouquet  to create a fuller arrangement.

Take blue cellophane and cut rectangular pieces. Take one of the pieces and fold it in half the short way and then in half the long way. Take a green floral pick, put the closed corner of the cello piece against the blunt end of the pick, and wrap the wire tightly around it. Fluff the cellophane out.  Insert the cello pieces into the foam.

Congratulations! Your Dubble Bubble Gum bouquet is ready!
