We all love to organize, but it can become so expensive and the cost, can get out of control, with all of the new organizers on the market today. However, some things can have a dual purpose (that you may already have in your home) that can be used for organizing your kitchen cabinets.

Cork Board squares-glue these to the inside of your cabinets for a great 'note board'.

Cup Hooks (the sticky kind from 3M)-glue these on the inside of your baking cabinet door to hold measuring cups and spoons.

Old Pill Bottles-to store thumbtacks, small nails, rubber bands etc.

Squirt Bottle- (Small size found in the hair accessory aisle) Fill with cooking oil to spray in cooking pans and coat baking pans.

Small Plastic Basket-Perfect for holding packaged gravy, sauces and seasonings, no more having them pushed all over the cupboard shelf.

Magnetic Tool Holder Bar---These are great for storing sharp knives. You will never stick your hand in a drawer and get your hand, cut again.

Manila Envelope---Cut straight across the envelope, 3 inches from the top. On one side, cit a 'v' shape out of the envelope to make index cards accessible. This makes a great recipe holder for those recipes that you use often and do not want to put away.

Wire Baskets---Things are great for storing, baking decorations or flavorings, chocolate chips, nuts and coconut and baking soda, salt and baking powder for baking. You can see what is in the basket, you have all of the items that you need together and it takes up less space.

Use a shelf, as a divider, for extra storage in cabinets----Baking pans, cakes pans and roasters are all hard to fit items. Take a shelf out of one of your bottom cabinets, turn it sideways, and use it as a divider. You cookie sheets can stand on end (taking up less room), Your Cake pans can nest inside each other and slide in sideways and you large baking  pans and roasters, can nest inside each other  and stack on the base of the cabinet. Everything is now easy to get at, takes up less room is organized and easy to find.

Napkin Holder-this may sound ridiculous, but this is great for holding your potholders. Attach a napkin holder to the inside door, of your baking cabinet, (or a cabinet near the oven) with hot glue. It will always be handy, the hot pads won't bet be misplaced every time that you need them, they are easy to grab (hooks can be a problem), and they will not be in the way.

As you can see, these are simple, inexpensive things that you can do to reach your goal, of kitchen organization. Sometimes the simple and easy way, is the best way and it is definitely the less stressful and more economical way.
