There are combinations of names to call the popup camper trailers of past and present, but have little differences in their overall origins. Some of these names include the tent-camper, pop-tent trailer, the folding-camper, and other word combinations that would appropriately describe this type of popup camper trailers. No matter if these are new or old, one name or another, all popup camper trailers are foldable or collapsible with tent like features and combined with camper, fifth-wheel features that can easily be pulled behind your car or truck.

While combining most all of the other hard-shell travel trailer camping features at a lower cost, the smaller lighter popup camper trailers are well suited for all those looking to save in several ways. These come with the overall rectangular box construction and popup tent unit on a travel trailer, a simple system to lift for holding the tent section erect. These are easy to use, lightweight and can be set up quickly.

For occasional users, these small used popup camper trailers are the most efficient way to go. When camping is new to you or just the fact of not getting to go very often, then the small used popup camper trailers are the best choice for the least amount of money investment. For a small unit, there are the beds, sink, table stove and usually an ice cooler. They are the average length of 8 feet or under and the light weight small used popup camper trailers are great for towing by small light weight vehicles, because most all of them are only between 800-1200 lbs to pull.

Since many small used popup camper trailers are just starter camping units for most, they are usually well taken care of. Many of us, when camping really use the outdoors more than the indoors, so the many varieties of small used popup camper trailers carry our basic needs with the lowest investment price.

With all of the choices in used campers, the small used popup camper trailers are the best choice for most of us to start with. They are way up above even the nicest of traditional tents and are more protective too. Small used pop-up camper trailers almost always have a good resale value, depending on the usage and proper care taken of any type of recreational unit of this kind. With little money investment and a desire to get rid of the traditional tent, small used popup camper trailers can't be beaten!
