You decided to throw that ultimate Super Bowl Party, but now are finding yourself in panic mode. You are questioning if you should call all your guests back and cancel or better yet hide when they come to the door. Knowing that your husband might disown you for such a horrendous embarrassment, you take a few deep breaths and try to put together a plan. After all, you need to secure your marriage.

So here are some quick dishes that are sure to delight those hungry football fans.

Ultimate Chicken Nuggets

This is a variation of a main dish that my family has at least once a month. These mouth-watering nuggets will sure to delight guests. The recipe comes from the Bisquick box with a few modifications. It is simple and tasty. Heat oven to 450 degrees and spray a foil lined cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Mix together two-thirds a cup of Bisquick and one-half cup of Parmesan cheese. Cut three chicken breasts into nuggets. Dip in one slightly beaten egg then coat with the cheese mixture. Melt three tablespoons of butter to drizzle on the top. Then place in the over for 12 to 14 minutes turning them over halfway through.

Sausage Balls

This is another recipe using the Bisquick-might as well use what all you can so you don't waste money. Mix together three cups of Bisquick, one pound of bulk sausage, 16 ounces of shredded cheese (use Colby-Jack for a Mexican kick), cup pf parmesan cheese and one-half cup of milk. Then you get to get creative. I have a friend that uses some taco seasoning for Mexican cheese balls or Italian seasonings such as basil for Italian sausage balls. It is up to you. Just use one-half to a whole teaspoon when seasoning. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place in a jelly roll pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Empty on football platter for the big game.

Finger Sandwiches

Purchase some Hawaiian Bread Rolls and slice in half. Place Turkey and cheese or a sliced meat of your choice. Add some Dijon mustard and you have a finger sandwich that will be the talk of the party. The bread adds a sweetness that everyone will enjoy.

Cheese, Fruit and Vegetable Tray

You can never go wrong with these trays. They are easy to make and always a crowd pleaser. For an easy fruit dip, mix one jar of Marshmallow crme with a package of cream cheese. It makes a sweet treat that will keep the fans coming back.

Chicken and Shrimp Popper

Take a boneless chicken breast and slice it open to make a pocket. Mix whipped cream cheese and a little bit of chopped green onions, stuff cream cheese mix and slice of jalapeno into chicken. Wrap it in thick bacon and hold it together with toothpicks. Cook in on the grill until chicken is done. You can also add small shrimp to the cream cheese to make it even better.

Don't Forget The Sweet

This is the easiest sweet treat to make. Buy the dark or white chocolate almond bark. Melt according to instructions. Then take the long pretzel rods and dip them in the melted bark three quarters of the way down. What is a football game without pretzels? For an extra creative touch, put sprinkles of your favorite team on the white chocolate ones.

This is a great starting point. Of course, if it all fails-every pizza place in town has game specials. Just call early! Best of luck and enjoy the game! Go Giants!
