This is a simple candy craft project that makes a unique gift for Mother's Day or Valentines Day.
You will need: floral stem wire, red chenille wire, hard candy (in this case cinnamon discs and starlight mints), narrow ribbon (red, pink, or white), and pliers.
1) Take a piece of 16 or 18 gauge floral stem wire and bend it into a circle using pliers.
2) Shape the circle into a heart.
3) Take candies with red wrappers (I used cinnamon discs) and using red chenille wire join them to the outer contour of the heart.
4) Take a piece of narrow red ribbon and make a loop out of it. Attach it to the back top of the heart using a dab of hot glue. Now you can hang the candy heart wherever you want.
5) You can use any candy you want. For example, you can use cinnamon discs and mint starlight candy, alternating them, to make a heart.
