Exactly how well do you really know about the PS3?

Most people know that when you go to buy a PS3 you have more options than it's sister console the PS2. The main problem with this is that a lot of people mess around with all the options and don't really know how to set it up right.

I remember when I first got my new PS3 I was so shocked and dumd founded because it look nothing like the PS2. For example, when I glanced at it the first I freaked out because there were no memory card slots. I thought I was going to have to build up all my stats and characters again (man I had so many cars saved for GT3 on my memory card). At first I was going to return my new PS3 because I had to rebuild everything again, but after chating with me friend I discoverd a way to still use my old PS2 memory card.

Do you know what I'm talking about? It's was so simple I could have screamed.

I found out that they made thing called a PS3 to Ps2 memory card adapter. Man, are they smart marketers to not inculde it into the box in the first place. The adapter is a small little device that you plug in your PS2 memory card into and than hook it up into the USB port on your PS3. It's a pretty cool little device and will save you a lot of headache and time for having to build up your stats again. Once you save your info to your PS3 it will be there till the end of time or until you have to buy the PS4 (ha ha ha).

So I bet your thinking this adapter isn't going to cheap, right?

Actually, the PS3 to PS2 memory card adapter normally will run you only about $11.99 to $15.99. I can be found just about anywhere like at you local Target or Best Buy. Luckly for me I got mine for free from my friend (ha ha ha those guys at sony won't get any more money from me). While you are there you should check out the other extras for the PS3 because it has a lot of cool new features, but most the good ones are already installed.

Now besides for the little problem with the copying you old games PS2 games (which is solved easily with the adapter) the new PS3 have many new features and cool extras. The one thing I love and I do recommend you buy it is to upgrade you 40 Gig memory to the 80 Gig. If your like my and love playing a lot of different games this will come in very handy.

If you would like to know more or just need some help with your new PS3 please feel free to stop my site and who knows maybe you'll find out something else new there.
