Happy Valentines Day, fellow Searchwarper's and readers. I can't wait for the big day, I've been waiting ALL year for my favorite holiday.. and it's nearly here.
Valentines Day.Love is in the air, the birds are singing, the sweet smell of roses fill the malls. Ahhhh. And don't you fret none, if you're dateless for Valentines Day, I don't believe it's only for lovers, it's for anyone who loves, and is loved. So don't be alone on Valentines Day, give a rose to your best friend, go out with friends, stay in with a chick flick, wine, chocolate and your other single friends, call up some people to say hi, that you haven't had time to talk with in a while.. or send some e-cards.
I found out something interesting for those of you looking to give Valentine Cards. In doing a short survey, about whether a Valentines Day card to your sweetheart is appropriate in an e-mail, or a store bought Hallmark type.. Hallmark won! 98% of Guys and Gals alike, all agreed that sending a Valentine ecard to your special someone isn't appropriate, it is considered to not have enough forethought, and is the thumbs down, for that one special sentiment.
However. After you've made the effort to go out, and either get the things to make a custom Valentine Card, or buy one, it is ok to send an e-card, html code, ping, txt message, IM, or SMS to the one or ones who are special in your life.
I have some links on here, of some of the best and worst ecard sites, with Valentines for your sweetheart. Deeply Romantic, Funny, Cute Animated, Myspace htmls, pings, and even Virtual kisses and hugs. With a little tidbit on what the sites like.
I hope you enjoy, and have fun looking, and find that special Love e-card you are looking for.
Before I get started, I am going to tell you upfront, I left out BlueMountain Postcard, Hallmark, (Although hoops & yoyo rule, and would be my number one pic), and the other big market card sites.. Why? Because everyone knows them, and I wanted to give you something to look at, that's different. Here ya go.. Romantic ecards, love ecards, and speical Valentine ecards links, the best I could find, and some of my favorites.
Virtual Kiss. This site has everything you need to know, or never thought to ask about kisses. You can customize your kiss, Pouty, Rosy Pink, Leopard Skin Kiss, Regular, Purple, Tatooed Kiss,Thin, Blue, Wet Kiss. You can also choose from a list of pre-puckered kisses.
http://rattlebox.com/ecard/categories/25-valentine-s-day Rattlebox is a sort of a provocative site, their motto is that their ecards don't suck. And some of them actually don't., and some should be rated 18 plus. For those inlove with Cupid, there are a few really cute Cupid cards. These cards are like real time video, but those interested in crude homor for Valentines Day this site is for you
http://hipstercards.com/ Hipster cards is another provocative site, but for those of you who don't mind a bit of naughty, and are looking for something sultry and sexy, with a few bare butts, than this site, much like Rattlebox, is for you. It's not x rated, it's just adult humor.
http://someecards.com/ Some Ecards motto is, "When you care enough to hit send." Filled with crude humor, Not a Lovely sentiment when it comes to their provocative one liners. They also use a few vulgar terms. Not the site for a lovely Valentines e-mail, but a great site for anyone who enjoys the obscure.. not an x rated site either.
Funny Junk is a cute little site that's filled with everything on the lighter side. Some of their stuff is a bit crude, but some of it, is kinda cute, and sometimes cheesy.
