Well before you run out an label me please take a moment to investigate what I am speaking to. I claim nothing but being a believer. Bible prophesy researchers know that all three locations have a significance in End Time prophecy. Now I am not writing as a prophet or seer but just providing information readily available to all for your consideration, at least those interested. I write as prompted to about issues that stir me. Certainly those who scoff, mock and jeer are also part of the end time prophesy and that is to be expected also as fulfillment that believers should already know.
So as some of you already know, I wrote a few months ago concerning the significance of Turkey. I don't know how many realize this but Turkey controls the water flow for the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. These rivers just happen to pass through Iraq. The Bible speaks very clearly of these rivers being dried up when the army of the east marches toward Jerusalem after the war with Russia who will be defeated. It also mentions Babylon [Iraq] as it was known then.
Update - Reuters - PRISTINA (Reuters) - Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci warned Serbia on Tuesday to forget any notions of controlling parts of the new country.
Update- Associated press just today 2/26/08 - Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the first confirmed Turkish military ground operation in Iraq in about a decade was a violation of Iraqi sovereignty.
Now how will these rivers dry up? Will there be a great drought or some natural situation? Well I suspect it is also little known that Turkey has a great dam which controls the flow of water to these two great rivers. Shut that down and they dry up, period. Why would they do this? Well lets assume that there is a confrontation between the Kurds and Turkey. If this brought war would this not be a tool for war? So a war with the Kurds of any significance just might draw Iraq and perhaps even Persia [Iran] into a fray? Why Persia, well they also have a segment of their population that is Kurdish. Hypothesis yes, possible yes or no? Perhaps not now but it needs watching and in my opinion it is possible in a few years.
Now Kosovo is part of the Balkans. Ancient prophesy says that the final Third World War will start there and spread to the rest of the world. Today, after years of war, we now see that Kosovo has broken away from Serbia thus creating a political separation and real friction between many nations. One of these being an re-emerging Russia. [Remember Fatima?] Now isn't it interesting Russia is also an ally of Persia. It is interesting for those of us who know Catholic prophesy that Medjugorje is located in this region. A site which locals say the Blessed Virgin Mary made an appearance to some young people and gave them prophesy about that region and the end times. She warned about the war that would cause the split in this region before it ever happened. One should also read my other work on Fatima or on line.
Now Turkey is a Nato partner with the United States. Of course we support Iraq and we have recognized Kosovo, so on what side of the coin would that leave us? Yes and we also support Israel, who is a sworn enemy of many of the Arab countries. Now we have "friendships" with many of these Arab nations while Russia supports some of the more aggressive, anti Israel nations. Russia has protection pacts with Iran and some of these others and is aggressively selling arms to them. So could there potentially be confrontation and what would happen in a flare up in the Balkans and or Turkey? Yes, the scoffers will say what's new but we should expect that.
Of the course the Dardanelles are required for Russia to pass into the Middle East. Like the Bosporus it separates Europe from Asia and it is the site of famous battles [The Light Brigade which involved the Russians]. Biblically it says that Russia will come down from the North and be defeated in a great battle, they and their allies, for the city of Jerusalem and against Israel.
Now we shouldn't fear because all of this hinges on things transpiring that are not totally in my opinion in place as yet and of course believers know about. One interesting one though is that many scholars are perplexed about where does the United States fit into all of this? Some say America will no longer be a power much less a Super Power. Some say they will suffer an economic collapse and perhaps even a major catastrophe or both. Some say they will be attacked first and eliminated leaving all open to the events that will unfold? All really conjecture but within the realm of possibility.
However, one thing is very clear before all this is to happen. There will be a great ruler who will spring up overnight. That ruler will being peace and prosperity to the entire world for three and one half years. One could assume the Unted States is no longer the Wolrd Leader but there is a greater power. Do you not read the financials and the rise of the Euro Market? Yes, it is happening, believe it or not.
His rise will bring a time of great prosperity for all. However, and that however, is the greatest we could ever become aware of, then all literal Hell will descend upon the earth. "Beware you inhabitants of earth for the Devil, the Ancient Serpent has come down upon you." It will be the start of the tribulation.
So as reasonable people let us take a look at feasibility. Lets take Kosovo first -The associated press reported -
"BRUSSELS, Belgium - The U.S. and the European Union's biggest powers quickly recognized Kosovo as an independent nation Monday, widening a split with Russia, China and some EU members strongly opposed to letting the territory break away from Serbia." Could this be the start of tensions in this region?
Secondly, we know already that Turkey is fighting a guerrilla war in the Northern part of Iraq with Kurdish rebels. As I stated, we do not hear much about this but it makes for an interesting mix of who supports who?
Third we know that America is undergoing a major financial crisis. It is so much so in my opinion many do not truly understand the consequences and are lulled into it isn't that bad. We know that this nation is, accept it or not, is no longer a major industrial power. Much of what we supply our armed forces and our society with is manufactured oversea's, fact. While we place great hope on our leadership, can we truly see that in their works? Our military is stretched thin, our reserves depleted and the finances and capability is just not there. Think not, then my friend look hard and think again. We just do not have the capability to support ourselves, independently in a war. We would truly have to depend on our nuclear resources. Neutralize that and we have no real capability. So it is possible we are not a factor?
So what we have is the potential making of events that could turn this world literally upside down. Now no man knows the day or the hour of Christs return and that is fact. Yet, we shall know when it is at the very door. Yes, the signs and symbols are all about for that possibility. You see God does not wish anyone to perish. So he sets before all the ability to discern, think, make choices, to literally see. These are in the events that transpire right before us all. Do you see them, do you look for the signs and symbols?
Does it mean they will come to be? Well, yes and no. God does what He desires. However, He is in control so if we do not see something transpire that we may perceive should does that mean it won't? The answer is no, we just cannot know Gods total plan or reasoning. However, like the Bride we are to be waiting for we know not the hour the Groom comes.
So my friends keep an eye on the signs and the symbols because they are there for those whose eyes have not been blinded and who wish to see and to hear.
