Here are some Great Lyrics to the most Famous Easter Bunny Songs.
The Easter Parade
In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade.
I'll be all in clover and when they look you over,
I'll be the proudest fellow in the Easter Parade.
On the avenue, Fifth Avenue, the photographers will snap us,
And you'll find that you're in the rotogravure.
Oh, I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet,
And of the girl I'm taking to the Easter Parade.
Here Comes Peter Cotton Tale
Here comes Peter Cottontail,
Hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity, hoppity,
Easter's on its way.
Bringing every girl and boy
baskets full of Easter joy,
Things to make your Easter bright and gay.
He's got jelly beans for Tommy,
Colored eggs for sister Sue,
There's an orchid for your Mommy
And an Easter bonnet, too.
Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail,
Hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity hoppity,
Happy Easter day.
Here comes Peter Cottontail,
Hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Look at him stop, and listen to him say:
"Try to do the things you should."
Maybe if you're extra good,
He'll roll lots of Easter eggs your way.
You'll wake up on Easter morning
And you'll know that he was there
When you find those chocolate bunnies
That he's hiding everywhere.
Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail,
Hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity hoppity,
Happy Easter day!

On Good Friday 1361, Father Thomas Rockcliffe, gave Hot Cross Buns to the poor of St. Albans. Simnel cake and Hot Cross Buns have been an Easter tradition since. The origin of making Hot Cross Buns comes from the Pagan's, they had taken the buns, and put a cross on them, for the symbol of the moon, symbolizing the four quarters. Some believe it's the cross of Christ, but as the adaptation of Easter came to be, from both Pagan and Christian, the tradition of a Hot Cross Bun, became adapted into a Good Friday Tradition, the Christian holiday. The simnel cake is associated with Lent. For more info on Lent, Easter, and how the Pagans and Christians influenced the holiday of Easter, check out my other Easter Articles.
Here is the song, that's traditionally sung on Good Friday.
Hot Cross Buns
Hot Cross Buns
Hot Cross Buns
One a penny
Two a penny
Hot Cross Buns
If you have no daughters
Give them to your sons
One a penny
Two a Penny
Hot Cross Buns

Dandelion Poem for Spring
There was a dandelion,
With lovely, fluffy hair,
That glistened in the sunshine,
And in the summer air.
And oh! This pretty dandelion
Soon grew old and grey,
And, sad to tell! Her charming hair,
Blew many miles away.
And her coat is silver-grey;
She lives in a great wide meadow
And she never runs away.
She always is a pussy,
She'll never be a cat
Because---she's a pussy willow!
Now what do you think of that?
Happy Easter
