John McCain will undoubtedly win the republican nomination for president. Who he will do battle with on the democratic ticket is still uncertain. I personally believe it will be Obama and frankly, I hope so.

I'm not saying that Hillary would make a bad president however; I have a gut feeling that makes me feel uneasy if a woman should take hold of the reigns. I don't believe it is natural for women to lead. I'm not backing up my theory with any proven facts either Biblical or psychological only my own personal belief, I may be wrong.

I consider myself a natural democrat some people say they vote for the individual however in my opinion no one who chooses the Republican Party is a candidate for the poor and the everyday working person. (Working class)

The Republicans have always been known to support big business. Those with influence in the corporate jungle manage to get the candidate they want elected. Since money speaks louder than words.

Our nation is in bad economic shape mainly due to the war and the Republican Party responsible for it. As I write this article, many of our troops are doing battle with enemy forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are losing many fine young men who are trained to fight forces they have been told are the bad guys.

I want a leader who isn't afraid to speak with the enemy with truthful words coming from "We The People" our nation is indeed a nation of immigrants from all four corners of the world. We pride ourselves as a nation respecting the beliefs of the vast amount of varied religions throughout the world.

I'm certain if we had a president who was willing to negotiate i.e. talk to those whom we consider the bad guys we could find common ground and learn to live together in peace. I'm closing this article with a little joke I came across:

Proud to Be a Democrat

Afirst grade teacher in the Midwest is explaining to her class that she is a Republican and how nice it is that a new Republican president has taken office. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Republicans and support George Bush. Everyone in class raises their hands except one little girl. "Mary," says the teacher with surprise, "why didn't you raise your hand?" Because I'm not a Republican," says Mary. "Well, what are you?" asks the teacher. "I'm a Democrat and proud of it," replies the little girl. The teacher cannot believe her ears. "My goodness, Mary, why are you a Democrat?" she asks. "Well, my momma and papa are Democrats, so I'm a Democrat, too." "Well," says the teacher in an annoyed tone, "that's no reason for you to be a Democrat. You don't always have to be like your parents. What if your momma was a criminal and your papa was a criminal, too, what would you be then?" Mary smiled. "Then we'd be Republicans."

Proud to be a Republican Joke

A Father was tired of hearing his collage student daughter bash the Republicans and decided to change the subject. How are your grades he asked? She explained that they were great and she was carrying a 4.0. He asked how her roommates grades were. She replied, "Awful!" Her roommate partied all the time, never studied and rarely went to class. She was carrying a 2.0. The Father then asked, "Why don't you both go to the Dean and ask him to give a 1.0 to your roommate? This way you both can carry a 3.0. "Are you crazy", his daughter replied. I work my butt off for the grades I get, while she parties all night and does nothing. Her Father replied, "Congratulations, now your a Republican!"

Good on anonymous, yes republicans do work hard for their own personal gains, I believe democrats work for the people.
