Did you ever wonder what to do with the grapefruit halves you have left over, once you have spooned out the pulp? Throw it away, you may answer. I guess you could do that, but unless you have your own compost bin, I can show you something better.
Make sure you scrape the inside of each grapefruit thoroughly, forming a nice bowl. Fill each grapefruit half with potting soil and plant your seeds. These grapefruit halves are the perfect size to get your precious plants started. Once the seed has germinated and you feel it is of ample size to plant, take it outside to your garden.
Dig an appropriate size hole and fill it with water. Place your pod inside and cover it with remaining soil. As your Eco-Friendly Pod rots away, it will leave important nutrients, nourishing your plants. If you or your family don't like eating grapefruits, use oranges. They work just as well and come in various count bags!
