4. The earlier you start their training the better. If you let it go for a while then try to train your dog you may have a tough time of it. If you trying crate training with your dog remember than an adult dog that is not used to being in the crate with fight you. A puppy is more likely candidate for crate training dog.

5. Be consistent in your dog obedience training. If you change your techniques every day or do not care one day it will just confuse your dog. Do not reward the bad behavior and punish the save behavior the next day. Just pick a course of action and stick with it. Your dog will get it but it just takes some longer than others. Remember, that there is no such thing as a "bad dog".

A dog is a member of your family first and a pet second. All dogs, like people, have their own personality and some just learn faster than others. Keep trying you dog obedience training at home and you can fix dog whining, dog chewing, dog jumping and many others behavior problems. Also, different breeds are easier to train than others.
