Written for my Uncle Donny who went to heaven on Easter of 2006.

I miss having you around me,

I miss having you around.

I miss seeing your smiling face,

I miss you, Uncle Donnie, I really do.

What I can’t believe is that you’re gone

is that you’re gone,

is that you’re gone.

I miss your famous cooking,

I miss spending time with you.

I miss your famous laughter,

I miss your famous smile.

What I can’t believe is that you’re gone

is that you’re gone,

is that you’re gone.

I miss having you around me,

I miss having you around.

I miss playing with my uncle,

I miss you, Uncle Donnie, I really do.

What I can’t believe is that you’re gone

is that you’re gone,

is that you’re gone.

Hi Miss Laura, my fellow Lucy fan - I'm your mommy's friend. You are an incredible writer and your poem made me happy and sad at the same time. You go, girl!!!! PS I just watched the episode of Lucy where she was pretending that she was being mugged so that Ricky would rescue her - remember that one? The lesson there is never "cry wolf" God Bless you, Miss Laura. I joined your fan club. I can't wait to read more of your stories. Teresa

Thank you Miss Teresa. I remember that show of I Love Lucy. I love that show and the one you wrote about was really funny. Mommy and me always laugh at that show and sometimes Mommy reminds me of Lucy so much. Thank you for joining my fan club. I think it will be all right to join yours but I have to ask Mamma later when she'd done with work. I will let you know. I hope you have a great day. Laura Lake
