ou have probably heard that the best way to stop food addiction is to cut back on eating too much. In the next few paragraphs, i will explore new ideas and thoughts that may help you achieve your goal and decide what is best for you.

So many people believe this to be true and they go around preaching this as the gospel truth. They tell people to stop eating too much so they can lose some weight and fight off cravings.

If you want to learn the facts about what causes food cravings and what foods to eat often in order to deal with cravings then take some time to read this article. You must keep in mind that fighting off food addiction is a process and can not be eliminated over night. Let us start by trying to answer the question about eating patterns and food cravings.

It might come as a surprise to learn that it is not how much you eat really but it is the selection of food you eat. Eating certain kinds of food may lead you to exacerbating your food cravings and eating another type of food might help curb food cravings. Eating more of this food can be good for your fight against food cravings. For example, consider taking B vitamins (b-vitamin complex. These are crucial for the metabolism of carbohydrates into the simple sugar glucose. You can find vitamin B in liver, nuts, leafy green vegetables, rice, milk, eggs, meats, fish and whole-grain cereals fruits. Taking more of these is not necessarily bad  but of course too much of everything does have its side effects.

If you think you have learned a lot about this fascinating topic so far remember, we are only halfway through!

So food cravings are by and large caused by chemical imbalances in our body system and it follows then that we need to feed our bodies with the right kind of information in order to gain access to much needed nutrients and thus help restore chemical imbalances. This is generally what you need to keep in mind as you accumulate knowledge about this topic.

This is why you will often see adverts that promote weight loss programs saying you do not have to change your eating pattern. What the scientists do is create some anti depressants that help produce the kind of resources your body need in order to function properly and fight off food cravings. The program developers have since understood what needs to be present in your body in order to make you feel fully functional, curb food cravings and lose weight without cutting back on your eating patterns.

Although I do believe in  antidepressants,  I am not, however,  a follower or fan as they may have some negative for some people such a nausea, irritability, etc. Curbing food cravings naturally is always the best option. You can do this by being aware of the bodys chemical set-up and then help balance it up by eating the right kind of food.

It should not really cost you anything to stop your addiction. For example, to stop food addiction, I usually recommend the following: monitor your emotional triggers that exacerbate your cravings , use exercising to improve your mood  this has a good effect on food cravings, When you feel some cravings coming on try drinking a glass of water also replace your junk food with something else e.g. chocolate for an apple.

So to eat or not to eat?, I believe to eat but to eat right. The author is an expert writer for this high traffic food cravings website called,  http://www.curb-food-cravings.com and you will find articles that will help you understand your body and the foods you can eat to help you curb food cravings. The website is meant for an average reader like you and me so every technical jargon has been eliminated or explained to every ones understanding.
