Who or what is taking your focus?

Are you finding yourself mentally bombarded with your day to day activities and not finding the time or energy to focus on what you REALLY want, like living your ideal vision?

For the past several months I have been coaching members and speaking with clients who up until our working together have allowed "things" and "stuff" to distract them from accomplishing their goals. Feeling overwhelmed by a to-do list, finding motivation to take focused action, and just plain ‘ol fear of making mistakes have been running their lives and businesses. If you are feeling this way, let me share some key tips that will help you shift your focus and get back on track with what matters to you most; living your lifestyle and business vision.

Tip 1 Identify what is out of alignment

Just as going to a chiropractor will help realign your body, identifying for yourself what is out of whack in your life and business will immediately shift your focus to what needs your attention first. The key is to not focus on the problem. You are identifying it, so it can stop stirring around in your mind and heart. You are identifying it so you can get mentally and emotionally free. So, what is eating away at you creating your ideal lifestyle?

Tip 2 Focus on what will be the MOST rewarding first

Think for a moment how you feel when you accomplish or complete something that you have been putting off. Doesn't it feel FANTASTIC? All of a sudden you feel a burst of energy, momentum and celebration. Whew! By focusing on what will be most rewarding first, you create a surge of powerful energy that will free up your creative space. What will you choose to be your most rewarding action?

Tip 3 Recall and Remember your Previous Successes

As I always say, success leaves hints and HUGE clues. In fact, they leave a crystal clear trail to lead you to even greater and lasting success. I want you to recall and remember a time when you completed and accomplished something that was a BIG deal to YOU. It might have been scary or maybe just plain ‘ol hard to do, but you did it, anyway. And, as you were doing it, and when it was over- the results were more than satisfying for you. Well, the saying is true, if you did it once… you can do it again, and even better the next time around. Are you seeing the opportunities that lie ahead for you?

Tip 4 Take a ‘Mental Moment' for Yourself

Last week, I shared a wonderful resource with my Mastermind Coaching Members to give them a boost of energy and vigor for their lifestyle and business. I wanted each of them to consider getting a much needed massage. After all, who is the hardest working person on the planet? YOU are. With all that you do for other people, isn't it just as important, if not more important, that you take a moment, for yourself. If you do, you will be able to tackle your projects at hand without the stress, anxiety and worry. In fact, you might even find them fun to do. None the less, taking a mental moment for you then completing your most rewarding task will allow you to flow with ease and create momentum. And ease is in my dictionary sits right next to living your ideal life; and that my friend is what its all about.

Loving and living your vision,

Natasha
