In regard to emissions, some of the modules do not violate the rules. Diesel performance modules boast about the increased engine life that it gives. You will also get interested in other gauge that determines whether your diesel engine is running at its peak performance or not. Gauges include temperature gauges, pyrometers and turbo boost gauges. These gauges may not help to increase your diesel engine's torque or power but they can definitely inform you if your engine has less then desirable conditions.
