Held at Augusta National Golf Club each year in April, the Masters Golf Tournament is a well-established tournament and regular stop for qualifiers on the PGA tour. When I was a kid, we lived in North Augusta, South Carolina. Cross over this bridge, however, and you entered Augusta, Georgia, home of The Masters Gold Tournament.

One year, my father managed to get two tickets to the Masters tournament through his job. So did he take my mother with him? Nope. Rather, he invited a friend from work.

Years later, my father could not even name the friend who went with him. But my mother sure never let him forget his decision!
