Dr. Pete Sulack, a chiropractic doctor, out of Knoxville Tennessee will begin airing a new kind of Christian program starting May 1, 2008. The programs purpose will be to show anyone and everyone how to help others and serve God regardless of age, education, background, training or anything else.
This program is expected to catch on fast, why? A great deal of emphasis today is placed on using large sums of money to accomplish great tasks reaching across the nation or the globe. Dr. Sulack is going to help Christians understand and fulfill the admonition Christ gave to the every day kind of Joe in Luke 16:10 which says “ He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."
To understand the new show you would have to take a look at Dr. Sulack’s ministry, “Matthew 10 International." It is the Bible based founding principles of Matthew 10 that is qualitatively different than most. Because God warns that he is no respecter of persons a big name is considered little in Gods economy and motive far outweighs any heralded success. Matthew 10 decided that the foundational motivation of their ministries would always be the lost, the fatherless, the widows and the Levites. (Pastors)
Not only are these Biblically driven motives but there is little chance of monetary return or personal glory for anyone. Matthew 10 supports hundreds of orphaned children, widows and pastors in several provinces throughout India. The phenomenal success of all of Dr. Sulack’s ministries on several continents and at home can be directly attributable to the obedient call to relieve the oppressed.
Dr. Pete related several stories of healings amidst the daily business of helping the needy both in India and in his own offices in Knoxville. The stories Dr. Pete relates are interlaced with descriptions of intense persecution including the deaths of some pastors and workers. What goes on in India and other countries is filled with both glory and the dark responses of a very active enemy. It is a modern day book of Acts unfolding even as America lives in a cloistered and protected environment while debating either the veracity or effectiveness of such endeavors. Matthew 10 is a grand example of helping where you can instead of waiting for a so called “ministry" to be handed down complete with title and paycheck. This is what the God Can Use You" program will be all about.
One of the outcomes of the Matthew 10 ministries that show Gods direct intervention is nothing more than an ongoing miracle. If the model used in Dr, Pete’s ministry were copied in similar ministries it could revolutionize them.
In India widows are reduced to a dull and meaningless life. It is part of the culture and the caste system that prevails there. Women are virtually left out to dry once the husband is gone. Orphans are also not well cared for by an overburdened government that has to deal with one of the most heavily populated nations in the world.
In what seems like an inspired stroke of genius Matthew 10 ministries decided to keep the widows and the orphans together in a close environment. What that translates into is, Orphans who have the benefit of being “mothered" again and widows who have a sense of purpose again. It is evidence that God means business when he says he will bless those who relieve the oppressed.
Sponsorship of widows and partnership programs are available through direct contact or the Matthew 10 International website but this ministry doesn’t wait for people to climb onboard before it acts. After the tsunami that devastated the area in 2004 Matthew 10 ministries sent people down into the rubble and debris where they found children roaming around listlessly having lost all contact with their families, many of whom were dead. They took these children to safety and fed and cared for them.
If more ministries were as inspired and effective as Matthew 10 International we would spend a lot less time complaining about the endless calls for support. Some might even wonder why they haven’t been asked to help as yet. It is in the same spirit that Dr. Pete’s “God Can Use You" series will be presented.
God Can Use You will begin to air on May 1, 2008 and will be an admixture of interviews with exciting guests, musicians, celebrities, pastors, actors and much more. First offerings will be led by TBNs star of “Pastor Gregg," Gregg Robbins is the creator of the first Christian sitcom in the world.
Stephanie Sulack, Dr. Pete’s wife will host the “Everyday People" segment of the program. This will be the part where Christians can get into the “Nitti Gritty" of the Christian life. Stephanie will conduct both interviews that will draw from her guests how they are able to serve God daily with their God given talents and abilities. This is the nuts and bolts aspect of the show that millions will no doubt find a blessing.
Stephanie is the mother of three sons, Ashton, Isaiah and Eli. These youngsters are aware of their fathers exploits such as meetings in India where 650,000 people attended in a seven night crusade in November. The crusade was televised and reached over 700 million of people.
The show is produced by “Uplifting Entertainment LLC" a media production company that is endeavoring to bring Christian and family-oriented entertainment to folks who are looking for better television.
The show kicks off in a weekly time slot every Thursday at 10:00pm EDT. Some of the guests helping to launch the show will be Jeff Allen a Christian comedian who they say “obliterates the lines between Christian Comedian, Corporate Comedian, Inspirational Speaker, and just plain Hilarious!" Following Allen will be Sam Childers a former rider with the Hell’s Angels who now rescues children in Uganda.
This program will be carried by several networks around the nation and promises to be a great blessing to the everyday Christian trying to find some way to help in an everyday kind of life. What’s more, it will help believers to go beyond giving and the “widows mite" (Mark 12: 41-44) which only hits the wallet to Matthew 10:42 which strikes at the heart of every Christian who wants to be used by God in a practical way.
“And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward." Mt 10: 42
This verse conveys the motive at the very heart of Matthew 10 Ministries.

Thanks Susan, I like Dr. Pete's attitude and the message he preaches. He is uplifting and always positive and yet he knows what times we are living in. He is an example of being wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.
