Some would perhaps based on the title of this article start wondering in how the life of Noah's house can at the same time become a house of prophecy all of a sudden when most of the people throughout the world only read and study it as something that has happened. There is after all no concrete indication or evidence that would sustain the theory, the very fact of seeing it, of going beyond what you with the eye can see. After all, his house lived by what G-d commanded them to do, and they fulfilled those commandments in every way they became understood till this very day. It was only after Cham's fiasco within the tent of his father that a crack became visible, one that eventually will cause a major rift between the houses of all three sons of Noah, houses that eventually would harbor all three major monotheistic religions, namely Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It reveals that it could well be that it's maybe not Avraham who has to be seen as the father of all nations worldwide, but rather Noah. And as such are the majority of all gentiles Noahides to a certain point because everyone knows that there was no flood problem within Asia at the time, tho we have Cayin of course, descendants of him who without doubt could have traveled to those regions, even sons of Cham, Yapheth and Shem. Let us not forget to this regard that religions like the Hindu one for instance are not as old as Judaism. A marriage between them and one of the locals is certainly something to be considered within our study on the matter, as the line of heritage that eventually would result in the birth of Judaism was chosen by G-d. Therefore do we learn about the fact that Yitchak followed in the footsteps of his father Avraham while Yishmael did not do so.
Anyhow, everyone within the house of Noah lived their lives for decades according to the teaching of their father or patriarch, who in the case of this article is Noah thus. They didn't know anything else. They were lectured within the culture of the house, even about Adom, of Gan Eden, and also about the world around them. Noah taught them the difference between them and their future, between the path of both worlds, the one of the below as well as the above, and how it was meant to be, or rather to become one day. The sons and daughters believed, and it made them strong, even when it was seen by the outer world as a weakness because they saw it as something not natural, something that is not human. The outer world only saw it within the ancient old concept of a world full of idols, of pagan gods. Strength was understood as something entirely different because survival was seen through the eyes of the fittest. And this view is even still today a truth, a god for many, a fact wherewith to overpower another person, people, or a nation, perhaps nations. But it was to be the house of Noah within the region that survived while many others vanished to never been heard of again. Yeah, often it's not the strength of the fittest that is really the strongest, then the one of wisdom that is, the one of the light within yourself. And as a result of this is it now only within the annals of Judaism that we are given a reference to how their culture, the ones who vanished, must have been long before the world came to know about the opportunities that archeological excavations would bring to them, whether for the good or for the worst scenario to happen. However, that will of course depend on how we study it, namely through the eyes of our ego, or the one of our soul.
Naturally are we aware today that some of these archeological funded missions had for decades a more (religious) political non-Judaic background. The aspiration was more inspired by the desire of acquiring a solid proof for the existence of certain groups of people. Blind belief made way for a visual approach, a teaching that could be founded on actual concrete facts, on findings that would give credentials of the highest order to what was being taught so that no one could have a right to argue about it, to cast doubt within the mind of the flock. The right to be a force, a power of the fittest became more and more important than anything else, and often no shame was wasted to connect fictional elements unto certain objects so to sustain, to keep alive a revisional theocracy instead of accepting with dignity and respect the reality of the found. But no, everything had to be done to erase what never should become erased in the first place. Nevertheless, the wisdom of man shouldn't become replaced by the stupidity/foolishness of his nature, his ego, ever. There is today just no room for it anymore, the same as there was none for it yesterday, nor will there be one tomorrow. Still, we are a part of nature, and we will act according to how we have been created during our time within the womb of our Ima (=mother). This can happen in a fully natural way, but even partially natural when we take in consideration outside influences like pollution for instance, and the effect it has on the yet unborn child. Only our soul can uplift us above our natural handicaps while it will always show its utmost respect to it, and sometimes even to its advantage.
On the other hand do we know that other powers throughout history used a more old fashioned way of changing the historical tide, of trying to erase another people's culture, their existence. They simply began to build above the remnants of what once was a house, a synagogue and yes, even a Temple, an attitude that was widespread throughout the ancient world. No waste of time was spilled to waste precious artifacts of wisdom, of guidance to uplift all of humankind to a level of spiritual revelation. Out of dust you are made, and unto dust you will return, but dirt it became instead through the hands of man, through those who had a total disrespect for the nakedness of their father. The truth was no wisdom in their eyes. It was seen as foolishness, the opium of the weak. Running naked a whole marathon, that was strength, that was courage. And so they ran, but ran to nowhere really, then only in circles around and around with no end in sight. They fled, but had no place to hide, to cover their body for the cold of the night, the darkness of their ideologies for the ego had blinded them so that they would not see the light, their light. Today many are still running and fleeing in all kind of directions, but always like before do so from themselves. Yes, people keep running away from themselves because of the fear that they one day will have to accept to live within the real world, and not the one of their legends, nor their fantasies, then be enlightened, be what they really are born to be no matter how you look like, no matter the color of your skin, or you being a Jew or a Noahide (=gentile). Real power is within everyone's reach, but it can only be attained through a pure not compromised wisdom. Every human being is foremost a soul, and in that capacity are we all equals no matter in what house we are born into. There is no superior race anywhere to be found, not here and neither above throughout the universes. We are all souls of light!
But alas, the focus of their mind within the ancient gentile world was to try to quickly revise the wisdom that wouldn't have just only given them their life when it wouldn't have been written and taught as how it became known to all of humankind through Moshe and other major religious G-dly inspired Judaic literature like the Mishnah, the Talmud and yes the Zohar beside many other great titles from Jewish biblical scholars/Sages, even Rabbinical authorities who are well known for their well inspiring contributions of insights into a mystic and yet not so mystical world that is so real, so vivid. However, it was not to be so at the time, as thoughts became filled with vengeance, a settling of accounts for something that no one really did commit. The 'murder' committed was only the refusal of accepting the vision of a leader, a refusal that the followers of the man himself nailed unto the cross because their agenda was somewhat different, more in line with what their ego wanted. And for that, a price was to be paid. The reality of what really happened was not to be revealed ever for they appeased the Romans so to survive. And running, fleeing away to where no one can run or flee to became a mission impossible, a marathon with no finish line, then only when the blinded would be prepared to see again, and accept what no one till today in their world has really come to accept. War is the concept of a refusal to accept the real truth, the one of the soul. And thus for as long as man will keep running away from this, then war will be a reality instead of a sincere and everlasting enlightened peace within the hearts and minds of everyone worldwide.
For now the waters of vengeance within the concept of this article were slowly being lifted upon the world. From the west it came. It rose and rose to such a height that no one could escape its wrath. Destruction of entire civilizations that walked not in their path was a fait accompli. The Roman might had put its full weight underneath a collusive deception. There would be no one to stop it, no one to question its validity. Only Roman power, the might of its mind would be the player of the day, the finalist, the winner, the victor victoria of the reality game so popular under the dominion of Roman hegemony. Of course, the winner took it all and went home with nothing, then just a simple crown. He would stay the slave of his own delusion, of his emptiness, the void of his life. Greed was his motto, and this motto became his degree, the measure wherewith he measured the loyalty of his followers and that of the masses.
But the G-d of the Jewish/Hebrew people came into the play. He said: 'Hey you. Yeah you. Just wait a moment. I'm still here you know. You can't erase me just like that with the stroke of a pen. I will take up the glove and show you the way as you never have seen it before.' And so it went. He guided His people into the ark He had asked them to build. All those who had refused to follow, to appease, then only were willing to walk in His footsteps entered the premise where no harm would be done to them, no flood would swallow them. However, the waters started to batter like enraged madmen into the doors of the ark where a hallway was found behind that would lead to the core of the Holy of Holies, the very place He had guided His people into safety, and where nothing would happen that would endanger the security of its occupants. On the contrary, it was so full of light that the lightness of its weight caused the waters to lift the ark up and up all the way till the seventh Heaven in a manner of speaking. The waters did became completely powerless for after all: How could it still destroy with all its strength and might what keeps floating on its surface, and adamantly refused to sink into oblivion?
So it eventually began to cave in. It in a twisted act of wickedness accepted the might of its adversary, but not without an easy retreat for it still hoped to be smarter than the wisdom of the light by using an ancient old serpent's guidance as a way to fool Who cannot be fooled. It thought: 'Let me be smart. Let me be wise, and the wisdom of light shall surely become viewed as the opposite of what it really is. I will have proven to the entire world the futility of its wisdom above the laws of my nature.' And so it did. It had realized that it had made a cardinal mistake by trying to hit the ark from every side, from every angle possible so to destroy it to only lift it up to higher heights all the way into the seven Heavens. Of course, the outcome pleased G-d while it made His opponent furious, but not truly conquered yet. He was not the guy who abided by defeatism that easily. It was something that his ego wouldn't let him to be. The leash was kept very tight around his neck.
Therefore decided G-d to bring in another player from the east, a player who had watched the game from afar, and was most eager to catch a piece of the cake because he saw the danger to his own strength and might. However, what the wicked ever may have thought to gain egoistically would very rapidly evaporate within the heat of the Arabian desert, as he didn't really understood to the fullest extent the flirting of G-d that would bring his own heart to such a height that only the wind could help him to change the course of the battle. The deal that G-d had therefore made with the one from the east was for him to take a bite into the apple of brotherhood. It caused him to lose his soul to the desires of his nature, as he was not yet strong enough in strength and might to understand its meaning, its essence. He was like Job, but only worse. Wind he would thus be, and so he became. It brought him into the arena that his cousin from the west had devised, only to witness a broken man.
'Join me', he said, but the water refused. Helpless as it was, it still wouldn't accept defeat, and it even tried to lure the wind into forging an alliance with his ideals. 'Surely we will win when we would join forces', he uttered with a broken voice. 'No one can beat us. Look, I only made a strategic mistake and lost this battle, but with you on my side: Who can beat us, who can prevent us from winning the war? There are only but a few inside,' he said, as he tried to explain the wisdom of his thoughts while refusing to accept that those few had just succeeded in shattering his army completely, an immense sea of water as far as the eye can see, even upwards, to all the corners of the earth, even to the east. 'Don't look at how I am now, but what we both can become', he said.
And yes, a small flickering of fire in his eyes accompanied this latest statement, a flickering that touched the wind's heart so unexpectedly that it took a step backwards out of bewildering in how blind and foolish his cousin had become. He was well aware that it came from out of a burning inferno, a deadly wish that had consumed him as good as completely. 'How can a great man,' as he saw his cousin, 'have fallen in shatters so deeply and into a thousand pieces, his flocks being everywhere and still nowhere at the same time?' 'This will surely not happen to me,' he said by himself, and took an oath to not abandon his cousin, but neither support the cause in this battle of his he clearly was fighting out with himself. This was not his fight, and as such he decided to help G-d by aligning himself with Him who he admired a lot.
Anyhow, G-d's advisors warned: 'Be not mistaken about his intention o Master. After all, he has the same background, namely Roman imperial ambitious desires.' But G-d already knew this of course for otherwise He wouldn't be G-d at all. So He had a plan, an ingenious plan, and it was really working splendidly, even better than expected. Wind blew as hard as it could and the waters were pushed into retreat far far away to only be found for generations into the theaters of Rome. They were only to become a vague memory within the far distant, but a very important lesson not to be forgotten came with it nevertheless. Its devastation was complete, and it would take time for it to recover from it, if it ever does. 'And when it does,' said G-d to His entourage, 'then let it be hoped that it will have learned its lesson. My people is saved, and that's what it was all about at the end of times.'
All of a sudden wind blew in, and without any kind of restraint asked: 'Where is my reward?' Taken a bit by surprise, G-d answered: 'Reward? Are you not pleased? I am. That's the reward for both of us. That's the bounty.' But wind was not pleased, and so he put his dome, his mark of victor victoria, his flag over the ark. Everyone inside became now locked up. There was no single door that could be opened for the seal of the wind had closed them so firmly that despair began to grow inside, as they didn't knew what would happen. What the waters had failed to do, the wind seemed to succeed in. It blew so hard that it became completely impossible to open the doors on any side of the ark. And till this day, even G-d was unable to open the doors for the despair grew by the day while the night became to fall in, the same as it once did so in Egypt as well, even in the Sinai desert.
They asked themselves: 'What have we done? We once again listened to You, trusted You with all our body, mind and soul, and see what has become of us now. We are at the mercy of our assailant who will only let us free when we would be willing to fully abide by his law, to become his servants, even of his god. How have You let this happen? How could You? We believed in You, in Your protection, and this is what we begot. Had we only stayed in Egypt, it wouldn't have happened.' But no answer came for the wind blew everything away that could come to the rescue of those he had in his might. He was proud of what he had achieved without the help of his cousin the water. His pride caused him to call him, and he told him the same words he once uttered long ago: 'Join me. Become one with me, and let your flock serve my gods for after all they are the same ones, only with another name attached to them.'
Now the cousin didn't refuse firmly right away, and neither accepted the offer yet. His world found itself still too much in shatters. Nevertheless, some were individually rushing to the call while others refused, and the rest did not know what to do. At the end, no one could truly join the matrimony wholeheartedly for the wind was so strong that it was just completely impossible for anyone to come near him, or his army. And in his greediness for power, for rewards and bounties, he lowered his voice. The wind calmed down, and it fell into silence. And exactly at the moment it did this, G-d ordered His spirit to hover over the earth, and its might couldn't become corrupted ever. Its strength, once released, could not be harmed or conquered/overcome. It silenced the wind once and for good, and pushed into retreat those waters that still had not learnt their lesson. It opened the doors of the ark, and did let G-d's people walk into the light, G-d's life.
'How did this happen as it did?', you as a reader may ask.
Well, as the words of encouragement and support G-d tried to convey to His people failed their intention, failed to reach their destination due to the wind, so He couldn't hear theirs either. Eventually they, because they had nothing better to do, began reading the books of the ark's library, and regained their strength, the very wisdom that was once given to their forefathers during their exodus out of Egypt. Unaware of the severe gravity of their words uttered to G-d, the word Egypt they had spoken caused such a great weight to befell their heart that it encouraged them to start delving into the ark's wisdom that saved their forefathers and -mothers time and time again. Even when they couldn't hear G-d, and He couldn't hear them, He was nevertheless with them all around them, even when it seemed otherwise due to a man's ego, no matter if it wasn't as powerful anymore. In their despair of being abandoned, of feeling lost, they found themselves being embraced by His arms of warmth and love day and night, the same as how it happened before when a cloud protected their ancestors by day while a column of fire did so during the night. As Noah, they too had fallen asleep in nakedness, but as no one of the two other brothers was around to put a blanket over them, on the contrary, they tried to expose their nakedness, G-d's presence kept them warm, and covered them with all the love they desired and deserved without question.
This was what the wind had overlooked in his greediness. This was his ayatollic mistake so to speak. He had thought that by keeping His people inside, and pouring all his evil thoughts over them, that their despair would cause them to give up on their birthright. He didn't knew that the ark was full of books, and filled with more than enough food and water thus to sustain everyone for an eternity. So what G-d eventually did was just only waiting in patience for the wind to make the same greedy mistake the waters did make. And it worked out as planned because His people had even come much closer to Him than at the time of their uplifting into the seven Heavens by the force of the waters while the very own world of these waters had now also begun to take a look inwards into the depth of their heart so to blot out everything that had come to corrupt it. Finally also the people of the wind began to look more and more inward, something that at last would give His people fully back their birthright, and the entire world becoming endowed by the grace of G-d, as how He had always envisioned it from the beginning, but in reality everlasting.
'And what has this to do with Noah's prophecy?', you may ask.
Well, that's something that you as a reader may try to find out for yourself if you want by trying to find the hidden within what's visible in the Torah, and more precisely Bereishis (=Genesis) chapters 6 till 10. But don't hesitate to read the whole Torah as well because it can serve as a great help of wisdom to solve the riddle. And by the way if possible: Try also to keep in mind your ten sephirots while reading, the ones the Zohar is mentioning about.
