When one examines the truth you can only come up with the right conclusion. Now a person may not care to hear it. A person may chose to ignore it. Yes, a person may even elect to do nothing about it and yet the truth is still there. It can never go away.
Now in my writings I have tried to come up with facts and truth. Why, there is enough liars in this world, enough misinformation, enough redirection, enough omission and to that truth we most likely all agree.
Yet, we talk and profess God, decency, caring the characteristics and ideals we say we hold dear yet is it unfair to ask do you, or do we see it at work in this world? Now of course I would be remiss if I did not say I recognize we all fail. Of course I would be remiss not to say there are many good people in this world, thank God for that. Yet, do we see it in the works of this world? What is done and what is not done that makes a difference for the better of all mankind? No, certainly not in the deeds of what many profess.
So what do people say to counter this? That's right because most people are not open to the real truth even though they say they can accept it. Yes, they do not really want it. They wish it would go away, they could forget it, they hope it will change. Yes, there is that word again, hope. Their answer is be positive, think happy, generate good thoughts, caring and kind thoughts, happy thoughts and forget the negatives. Yet, when they wake up to reality they find the same tragedies that plague mankind in everything. Why, mankind is what it is.
Why list it all? I have for years and it hasn't changed and we know in truth it will not change until man changes himself. In my opinion it will take a God to do that and that is an absolute truth born by the works of mankind.
So in a prior article I wrote of "I don't know about you but I'm really tired" I spoke to the many frustrations that attack and harm good people each and every day. I spoke about trying to be happy, positive and content while suffering at the hands of what we say in Italian as "risgraziato" or in English the ungrateful types.
Now as Christians we are to be grateful even for our trials, our sorrows, our tears, our hardships and thank God for them. To true believers trials come one right after another and sometimes multiple, or many at once. They are a sign and symbol that follows believers. The point is we are to keep in mind these are but a short time in passing and that we, "while in this earth we are not of this earth".
Yet in our human weakness how do we overcome this all? Well it is a very hard trial when we see the "risgraziato", as we say always stepping in it [I will leave the it to you to describe]. Yes they have it all here on earth and get this point because it is very important, in fact extremely important, they profess they are blessed.
Now as believers know and as I mentioned a sign of who believers truly are is in the trials they carry. Yes, it is like a badge to signify their sufferings are one in the same with whom they profess. How can they ever be happy here on earth when this earth is totally corrupt? So it is not unreasonable to recognize the truth that those who seek what this earth has to offer and as much as they can of it, are simply of this earth.
That my friends is the key. Oh they will say it is not wrong to have money or wealth and in that they are correct. They in my opinion are also wrong in believing they should not do good with what they have been blessed to have, money, power, position. Yes wealth is not bad of itself but in their heart of hearts, in what they do or fail to do, their is the truth.
So I ask you all who say you are good, decent, professed believers, do you see it in many of those who profess? Yes even those ministers of your church? Professing good but doing the opposite in thought, word or deed, in what they have done or failed to do, or do you not see it at all? Yes a key question do you see what I am asking? if you see it in others have you taken the time to see it in you?
So I do not judge them however, I do ask if their deeds represents what they have professed they are and what about those they didn't do? Does one have to list them for you and if so then perhaps Moo is appropriate. No just look at the shattered, plundered, raped and abused all across this land and this globe and you have your answer. The church of this, the church of that, the one true church, the one true religion is nothing but an empty shell if one does not do the works they profess of the one they profess to believe in. A building without soul, a congregation without spirit. Yes a lot of song and talk not much more.
So I stand before you a sinner, a broken man, condemned by my deeds to repent and acknowledge that I have failed. Can I hide that, certainly, from you. Can I hide it from He I profess? You already have your answer. I can sing, praise, profess all I want to it does not change the truth, what I have done or failed to do. Hey simple truth. Yes those who have been hurt or used by my deeds or helped know the true answer of me. What about you and they?
So until we who profess, do what we profess do not expect change and please do not say you are because in your heart of hearts you know the truth. Accept it, your choice, ignore it your choice, recognize it your choice. May I ponder out loud as to why if you agree you allow it and why do you accept it?
If you truly think these who lead us are for we average Americans then vote for them. The only thing I continue to say is have you weighed their works, what they have done and failed to do? If not then all I can say to you is what you evidently understand, Moo. Why, because if you are not that then you must be like them?
Hard yes, sorry certainly, I mean no offense, I just wonder why we allow this blight to continue to fall upon us?
