I just finished watching PBS's Bill Moyer's interview with guess who -- the Rev. Wright -- Senator Obama's spiritual advisor and minister of the church where Obama and his wife are member. It was a very interesting and enlightening hour.

So what is my opinion--Rev. Wright is not the man the media would have us believe. He seems to me to be a very kind and gentle soul. And if you hear more than the 10-20 second sound bites of his sermon, it becomes very clear that the media is once again trying to "make" the news instead of just "reporting" it.

Once again the cable news networks have made the news to fit their own talking points. I am not going to list all of the names because I have already done that -- time and time again. It is my opinion that the media has more to do with the state of our country than any other entity.

Are there any real journalists still alive please, if you are a serious journalist who reports the story with an unbiased spin to it -- please stand? I have a story for you. It is about the major media networks owned by a few who want to hijack our public policy. The American public just wants the facts, so the public policy can be set by the citizens of our country.

The Wright interview did not change my mind on who I support but it did open my eyes to which channels to block in this household.
