Do you ride a motorcycle? Get lost sometimes? A Garmin GPS motorcycle navigation system, or perhaps a Tom Tom GPS motorcycle navigation unit, can take the strain out of motorcycle navigation.

I dunno. Getting lost (or 'exploring' as I prefer to call it) is the most fun part of touring. Some of my most exciting moments while riding were when I was in the middle of nowhere with no towns around, and I'm stopped at a fork in the road looking at my fuel gauge that is showing near empty. Now *that's* a good time. Gimme a good ol' road map and a gas station to stop at instead of a fancy electronic gadget. You get to meet some great folks when you ask for directions at the local Stop 'N Rob. I suppose a GPS unit would be OK if you're lost in the middle of an uninhabited area, but there is a better way to get help. Wander around until you find a badger hole, then pour a hat full of water down the hole. When you do a damn fool thing like pouring water down a badger hole, somebody will aways be around to see it.
